Monique and her husband harassed a black RUclipsr years ago just because she made an honest review of her products. Also I saw dozens of reviews from black women stating that Mielle Organics made their hair fall out after the formula was changed. Everyone can’t be lying on her. She is the problem. When I use to use Mielle last year, it didn’t make my hair fall out but after doing research on how shady Monique is, I cannot support Mielle anymore. I started using TGIN and Camille Rose and my hair is more moisturized and my curls are defined. I will never support Mielle Organics again. I’m sticking with TGIN and Camille Rose.
I agree 100 percent…everyone can’t be lying…here is an updated video from Linda Lynn (the RUclips involved in the controversy with Mielle Organics 4 years ago) for those who haven’t gotten a chance to watch it🤎🤎🤎 ruclips.net/video/daM_xovsZ28/видео.htmlsi=GKCw_2tES1AibbYZ
Her products ruined my hair for a few months.. Big clumps of my hair came out and the products made my daughter hair come out as well and she was saying her head felt like it was burning 😢…
If you haven't watched this video already, search up Linda Lynn. The way the owner and her husband treated Linda over a hair review is wild. All this happened 4 years ago, so I am not surprised that she still has such a deplorable attitude. I am not far into the video so maybe she was already mentioned.
I saw countless videos from women saying the new Mielle formula took their hair out. Where there's smoke there's fire. Also I remember how the creator and her husband treated the BW youtuber who did a critique of their products. It seems like Monique hasn't learned anything. She's still very arrogant and defiant.
I was doing research on hair loss a couple of weeks ago. I have lost over 30% of my hair and figured it was something else. You popped up as a recommendation today. I used this product for months and didn't know there was an issue. It is a blessing I saw this. Thank you!
Those Mielle sales must be low. Never tried this product. Stop jumping on trends and stick to what has always worked for your hair. All the women with hair loss weren't lying.
I'm not buying this at all. There were far too many videos of people who genuinely believed that Mielle was responsible for negative changes in their hair and I also recall the woman who used the shampoo followed by the conditioner and we saw in real time her hair matting up on contact with the conditioner. Also, the owners of Mielle have form in harrassment of select people who have negative experiences with their product. In closing, why is this woman expecting black women to do promo for this claim? Can't she tap into the behemoth that is P&G and their marketing team? The arrogance in her summoning black women to do her promo irked me.
The way that she acts during a situation is going to be her downfall. She did this 4 years ago too with another RUclipsr. She is leaving a bad taste in everyone's mouth.
Me and a coworker were talking about this company a few weeks ago. She didn't use it either and she heard about the hair falling out. I'll stick with Miche for now.
My question is, if you washed your hair with that product and clumps came out, why would you use it for a second time? Why use it for months if every time you use it your scalp gets irritated, itchy and clumps of hair fall out? 🤔
Not realizing this is what caused the breakage. I could see doing it a second time, to see but over the course of months would be process of elimination what new products have I been using? Let me stop ALL products and go back to basics.
Some people use new products every wash day. This happened to me from a "natural" black owned brand. I knew it was the brands conditioner because it was the only new product I was using. I was able to identify the issue quickly. Then I tried it one more time another wash day and my hair started falling out in clumps again. That brand had lots of essential "natural" oils. But the brand wasn't Mielle.
I feel like there was a bad batch where a misformulation made it through, the new owner had the option to go through an expensive recall or ignore and deny, deny, deny and they chose the latter. Plus lower quality versions of the same or similar ingredients instead of organic for mass production. I’ve personally never used Mielle, but that’s just what it sounds like to me.
Cantù products and anything with rice water turns my hair hard and crunchy, that Dr. Serbian and carols daughter have too too much fragrance in it., I had to give it away. My hair is curly and soft naturally. I love kinky curl, chebe oil, shea moisture products and water are perfect for my hair. my hair craves water and moisture. Now about, every once in a while I have used the milelle moisture grease in the green jar, it’s great for me it melts in my hand. I don’t do perms the I’ve tried perms twice in my life and it broke my hair out. I do breads maybe twice a year medium size braid or two cornrows. And I don’t leave them in over two weeks.
This situation confuses me so much. I used the Mielle hair mask for a month. Finished the product. I didn't see any improvement, damage or change at all to my hair. So I stopped. I hear people saying, their hair started falling out, their scalp itched and burned for weeks, months. If something gave you an issue, how were you still using it? I genuinely don't understand. Also, how are you sure if it is the product. Is it the only product you use, or do you use multiple? It could be the Mielle but it could be other things. You could be allergic to an ingredient or sensitive to all the essential oils. As for Mielle. Why did Mielle not do a study? Or something? They need to show proof it is not them. The issue is it could be Mielle. Especially if Mielle is the only product line you use in your hair. Or it could be a combination of factors. It can so many things. Even Olaplex has gotten sued for hair loss and they are a leader in hair care. If it really is Mielle. How can they prove it? If Mielle truly caused it, they need to pay for damages. But I am not sure. The situation is baffling.
I thought the same thing. Thought I’m not invalidating their experience. But if something is not working for me I stop using me. I think it’s odd how they continue to use it if not working. So many factors can be in play here. You’re so right.
I still use the oil because I never had an issue. But in this situation, when they go low, go lower. She should have sued and demanded a public disclosure and apology. The damage to the brand's reputation has been done.
I used the Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Moisturizing line and wasn’t impressed. I never touched that scalp oil. I went back to my Cream of Nature and African Pride lines with Rosemary and Castor oil by Handcraft Blends, coconut oil and Amla oil. Everyone ain’t lying! 🤷🏽♀️
Who was the original content creator who came out with the claims? I wish she would have just said. And why so many other women said and showed their hair coming out? Well hopefully this gets sought out because I know what my eyes saw. I do wish her well.
I can only speak for myself but using Mielle caused my hair to come out in clumps and damaged my texture in 2022. Of course folks are free to use it but I will not.
I had a similar experience with function of beauty in 2020 and then again in 2021 with olaplex. I stopped following hair trends after that. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I stand with Mielle. If she were to oust the competitor without putting out a lawsuit Yall would say she’s attacking just anyone to save face. I’m waiting for a defamation lawsuit.
Honestly, I think the problem people have with her is her attitude and how she reacts to criticism. I hope she can get to the bottom of this and that her products are not the cause. However, if her products are causing hair loss, it will be extremely hard for her to garner any favor from people.
@ when you built a Brand as such, and you truly are walking in integrity. When people come out with claims they need to be able to back it up because hair loss can be caused by so many things. For you legally prove that it’s causing the issue, so many things we have to go into it. Personal diet, hair care regimen, deficiencies. I’m not a sponsored Mielle organics, influencer. I feel like what happened here was the said person did not like the fact that Mielle sold to proctor and gamble. And the video was some sort of revenge. Unfortunately, there are people that follow her mentality, so if her hair is fallen out because of Mielle because I’ve also use Mielle now all the sudden. It’s my Mielle’s fault , never mind how “I was taking care of my hair previously”this done the third. I hope this motivates Monique to release the proof. Because at this point, if they want to save the Brand reputation, the proof has to be disclosed to the front.
Iv never really cared for Mielle. I tried the pomegranate and honey line when it first came out and it cool then later tried the oats and honey line which I didn’t care for. The Products smell good but other than that I feel it’s trash. I feel bad for those who loss hair 😢it’s unfair and unfortunate. TGIN is where it’s at though
Thank you for keeping a pulse on this. No one with a modicum of intelligence who has viewed multiple videos of people coming forward believes this! smh...
I'm not paid by anyone nor a RUclipsr but i tried the shampoo recently and it's crap. It's supposed to be moisturizing and it made my hair dry as the desert.
I've used the mint strengthening shampoo. My hair liked it just fine . It didn't fall out more than usual. I’m sorry you had to go through hair loss…have you found any solutions to the hair loss yet? And thank you so much for watching 🤎
Those Mielle sales must be low. Never tried this product. Stop jumping on trends and stick to what has always worked for your hair. All the women with hair loss weren't lying.
The second videos came out of her falling out. Immediately took the hair products back. So yea they sales of been low.

Love Miche, I tried Mielle’s deep conditioner for a change but it didn’t hit the same

You may be spot on.
Cantù products and anything with rice water turns my hair hard and crunchy, that Dr. Serbian and carols daughter have too too much fragrance in it., I had to give it away.

Remember Monique plays dirty. Remember how her and her husband ganged up on the one girl (forgot her name) over the rice water collection.
Baby, the hair don't lie!!! If you're using a product and notice your hair is breaking/falling that's it, that's all...
This situation confuses me so much. I used the Mielle hair mask for a month. Finished the product. I didn't see any improvement, damage or change at all to my hair. So I stopped. Sometimes the allergies don’t arise instantly but later on and it does take awhile to determine where the allergies come from.

My hair fell out sores itching burning scalp still recovering😢
Nobody paid me
Oh wow 😮 I’m so sorry you had to go through that smh 🤦🏾♀️ and I agree not everyone is being paid🤎

The products are no longer organic. There's your answer. She is just trying to save face.
Women take vitamins D3 and K2.
So informative. Thank you for creating such a positive community ❤

Wow sorry you had to go through this and it’s so much women on my channel with the same story and like you said everybody can’t be paid🤎
I've used the mint strengthening shampoo. My hair liked it just fine . It didn't fall out more than usual. I've heard that there is henna on the product, so it may not be beneficial to use them all at once because that would be too much protein.
A few years back I tried an aunt Jackie's shampoo.
My hair looked like I fried it.
It took months for my hair to recover. I've seen a lot of people raving about that shampoo. It was not just for me.
People just need to find work for them .
And who would be the competitor Judy??? I wonder why did she change the packaging of the product it was green.
No ACCOUNTABILITY 😮
Her nasty attitude just makes more people want to tear down her company whether her products work or not
