great video on the Shower, side note - what are the awnings that you are using and how do you mount them to your roof nest? I have the Sparrow roof nest
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@John Stanley I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I have a 7 gallon Road Shower and 8# propane tank. So pretty much the exact same set up as you. Even after pressurizing the Road Shower to 40psi, I'm not able to maintain consistent pressure for the Hottap to continue firing. It's very inconsistent at best.
The road shower has studs that come off the bottom and the side of it using carriage bolts. I went ahead and drilled holes in the yakima cross bard and bolted the shower to it.
Hi there! I just wanted to see how the Joolca is working after several months of use . I have the same system and it stopped functioning less than a month after I received it. I really want it to work so I'm debating to get an exchange or refund. I made a review on my channel to show the issues I am having with my unit.
I'm really sorry to hear that. Ours has been working great, with only a few minor hiccups that came down to usage. Joolca's support is top notch and I would definitely reach out to them and get some support. They're absolutely awesome to work with.
@@DiscoverExpeditions Awesome! I agree ... I’ve reached out to Joolca and they have excellent customer service! I’ve opted to get an exchange and will give it another shot. I hope my replacement works better ! 🤙🏾
@@adventuresquadla7992 Awesome! I'm glad they were able to help you out. I'm sure you'll be up and running and enjoying hot water on the go in no time!
Whats that trailer you are pulling? I want a small trailer to pull OverLand 4x4 on my FJ. Do not need anything big. Just something to carry a little extra gear. Since Im sleeping in my FJ. Thanks
In Portland Oregon. 9600 without the tent, 11,800 with the tent. Trailer is a 2018, fully line-x costed, installed a slide tray in the front, Yakima towers for the tent, or kayaks, and the tent was purchased in December and is a falcon Xl, by roofnest. Can ship it as well.
I wish I could but we sold it a year ago! It really was a great trailer. In fact, it’s for sale right now at Lolo Overland in Troutdale. Since I had it, it now has full electrical too!
We disassembled the HOTTAP and bolted it to a molle pannel, which then was bolted to the door. Joolca has been planning to create a quick release mount in the near future as well!
The tent is the height of two kayaks stacked underneath. It’s also higher to accommodate an awning and be tall enough to stand under. It proved to be very stable on the road
@@DiscoverExpeditions Ah, so with the Roadshower, you don't really need electricity. That would be the same for me with my smaller WaterPORT. Seriously considering this...
I ordered mine today. Thanks for the vid on how it operates.
you think its durable enough to leave mounted outside on the roof of the van? then just connect the gas when needed?
I probably wouldn't due to rust issues.
what do you put down for a floor? i'm guessing you don't really want your feet getting super muddy each shower.
Bring flip flops
Sweet! What’s the connection on the Yakima you used to connect the joolca hose? Link?
Do you think the pump will work for filling larger water tanks, like 30-40 gallons?
I would add a different pump for this, we are going to as well.

@John Stanley it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my account !
@Orlando Mordechai Happy to help =)
I need a trailer like that one for my Suzuki Samurai
What gas splitter do you have on your gas bottle? Been looking for something for a while. Care to share the link to it please?
Its just a generic splitter from amazon. Been working great!
How long does the pressure from the tank last each shower?
about the a total of 5 gallons, most of the tank, or maybe 5 minuets of use. Depends how long you use the water

We ran into the same problem and are going to look into an electric pump and water tank to supply the joolca.
So this doesnt work then?
@@eda7875 I haven't had any luck. It seems that others have been able to make it work. I've moved on to the Glind system which is more full proof.

Just curious if it comes with the adapter for a 3/4” fitting that you have on your tank?!
Sweet setup.
Where can I buy the adapter to connect the blue joolca hose to the Yakima road shower?
@discoverexpeditions
What quick disconnect is that from the cold water line to the water tank?
I’m also looking for this for the Yakima
How did you mount the road shower to the side bar?? I can't figure it out??
The road shower has studs that come off the bottom and the side of it using carriage bolts. I went ahead and drilled holes in the yakima cross bard and bolted the shower to it.
Nice, simple fix. Didn't think about drilling through the brand new side bar😄.
How many showers do you get out of that 10 gal water tank?

@@DiscoverExpeditions Why are you selling it? It looks like it fits your needs well?
Hey i really dig that trailer. Could you give us some walkthru of it, diy? Looks perfect for what i need!

Very nice setup.
Would this work safely in a van if you mount the white box outside and ran the hose inside the door to shower ?
Yeah it should, the unit itself should be kept outside since its burning propane, but you can run the hose anywhere you need!
They now have a quick mount that you could probably rig outside to make set up and dissasembly easier
Cool vid
why do u heat the road showers water, isnt it supposed to heat up from the solar energy on it? just more controlled heating?
If it is cold outside the roadshower wont get hot. The roadshower only works when it is like 70 degrees outside. 60 degrees only if sunny.
How did you mount it to your trailer please?
We disassembled the HOTTAP and bolted it to a molle pannel, which then was bolted to the door. Joolca has been planning to create a quick release mount in the near future as well!
Would you mind making a video of it please?
By the way I like your set up and thanks for the info.
Haha love how you Americans say joolca
can you share this location; would be great to stay there
I'm trying to understand, why did you raise the tent so high? it looks ridiculously ugly, + you have the chance to topple over much more easily.
The tent is the height of two kayaks stacked underneath. It’s also higher to accommodate an awning and be tall enough to stand under. It proved to be very stable on the road
Can you show how to connect with battery also?
Sonya Tekeu The only battery connection required is the pump, which plugs into a 12v cigarette lighter receptacle.
