i first uesd it in training, and when i felt comfortable i started doing it in races. In training, it gives you a chance to get comfortable at the race pace while doing the nose breathing
That’s very impressive you can race breathing through your nose! I can do slow runs, but even the slightest elevation or rise is a challenge to maintain nose breathing. Maybe you should do a video showing us how you progressed it from just training to racing all out.
Pretty great, for me I already picked up that technique from early on when training for my first ever 5k since it feels the most comfortable to do.
Great to hear
Easy in summer when it's warm, not so in winter when your nose is streaming constantly!
True😂
very helpful man, Thank you so much! 👍
No worries Glad I helped 👍
Not sure about this but will give it a try. Could have been other things going on with your improvements. Practasing is spelt practicing by the way.
It definitely helped me improve a significant amount
Have found this has helped a bit, i feel more calm, went from 21:29 5km to 20:58 today
Did you work up to racing 5k’s while breathing through your nose or do you just do nose breathing while training?
