I enjoyed this a lot. I'm new to Buddhism but the Prajna Paramita has always stood out for me. I'm curious, though. The majority of this reads as an instruction manual and then ending with the Mantra itself. Repeating the beginning portion is great for remembering everything it describes, but isn't the 'meat and potatoes' so to speak in the mantra itself? Is it imperative to say this in its entirety? I often repeat just the mantra at the end. Wondering what someone else might think about my novice take?
My friend, the heart sutra is showing us that as soon as we label something in our mind, the label has no inherent existence. Don't "label" pain as pain, pleasure as pleasure, ect... it's all impermanent, so let all phenomena evaporate by itself. The heart sutra is the non-attachment, and non-clinging sutra. When there is nobody clinging, there is no "you" there. Hope this helps.

hello brother and sister we muslim meet ramadhan this month i hope god bless the world to become more peaceful place and help those who suffer, i just want to tell some information and fact about quran and bible, this is a friendly reminder
the quran multiple times correcting the bible in many cases

I enjoyed this a lot. I'm new to Buddhism but the Prajna Paramita has always stood out for me. I'm curious, though. The majority of this reads as an instruction manual and then ending with the Mantra itself. Repeating the beginning portion is great for remembering everything it describes, but isn't the 'meat and potatoes' so to speak in the mantra itself? Is it imperative to say this in its entirety? I often repeat just the mantra at the end. Wondering what someone else might think about my novice take?
My friend, the heart sutra is showing us that as soon as we label something in our mind, the label has no inherent existence. Don't "label" pain as pain, pleasure as pleasure, ect... it's all impermanent, so let all phenomena evaporate by itself. The heart sutra is the non-attachment, and non-clinging sutra. When there is nobody clinging, there is no "you" there.
