The only gaming podcast! Even after all these years, Game Scoop is by far the best place to catch up on the news and start the weekend. As always, thanks guys!
That's hilarious that you found one of the best cheese's in the game so quickly to stealth snipe the entire goblin camp Dameon. Sounds alot like how you enjoyed Eldenring. Very happy y'all are all playing BG3 now.
When it comes to discussing greatest games, I think it doesn’t get mentioned enough that it’s natural for newer games to build upon and improve on the older ones. The first Mario and Zelda were groundbreaking and very important, but they’ve been surpassed many times over that I even wonder if they belong in a top 10 of their own respective series
I’m also a Gavin from Texas, so the email shoutout at 13:05 also felt like a shoutout to me lol. I haven’t played Baldur’s Gate 3 yet though, so that email definitely wouldn’t have been something I would have wrote in.
I think for me standalone and relatively short expansion is probably the best way to lure me back into a game, like Far Cry 3's Blood Dragon expansion.
Thank you very much Justin for saying this about Ai. I’ve been saying the same thing. Just a couple of years ago when asking “professionals” about the future of Ai, and them taking jobs the promise was that they would take all of the menial and difficult labor, but would free up everyone’s time, and make it so we could all pursue our passions/creative endeavors, but the first thing they came for were the creative jobs NO ONE asked to be taken from them. I’ve been really down about the current implementation of Ai, but there’s no putting the genie back in the bottle, and unfortunately this is where we’re at. 29:13
Elden Ring DLC will be that old when it comes out for one reason they were not expecting that game to blow up like it did. I’m sure they had a plan for new content but when your game blows up the plans change they expand they go in different directions you get a bigger budget and people say wait a minute what else can we do because we only get one shot at squeezing this lemon a second time and it’s full of juice still.
Imo AAA great A.I. games will come out and people will love it and forgot all this talk we are having now. It's kind of the inevitable. Its the same how people feel about mom and pop shops being ran over by corporations but who really cares now?
There is a test called turing test. When you make a conversation machine, if you do not understand that that is not machine and think that it is a human, machine passes turing test. If you do not understand that game is created by AI without knowing, it really doesn't matter.
'Would You Play an AI-Generated Video Game?'... it immediately brings to mind a similar question about movies. Given the perplexing narratives we've seen recently, like in the new Star Wars trilogy or 'The Rings of Power', entrusting an AI with the task might very well be a step in the right direction!
Heres the thing: we will gradually come to appreciate the difference between AI generated things and human generated things because we will be able to SEE the difference between them and perhaps identify with one over the other, and see ourselves more clearly in the space that is the difference between them
Uncanny valley stands in the way at present, but we should be able to comprehend passing that point eventually. Either we will be able to tell the difference between ai and humans, or we won’t. Either option is equally terrifying, wouldn’t you say?
Is this your first time watching game scoop? They always go over multiple topics. The topic in the title is just one of the topics they discuss, could be the first one or the second one or the third one.

Shout out to Daemon for his poker face during 20 questions. Nicely job!
Scoop! It’s still baffles me that people only listen to this. The video alone is priceless is for the facial expressions! Nicely job!
really enjoyed the tone of this episode. would expect nothing less from the only video game podcast.
The game of life is the worst AI-generated game you can play.
Most board games are.
@@inigomontoya619Yea life is probably my least favorite board game.
Life Cereal is no game….. that’s some serious sheet……
If IGN gives it a 7/10 I’m in
Always happy to come in for GameScoop. It’s like catching up with old friends.
The image of Damon trying to sneakily watch *Kill La Kill* on an airplane has me in tears!

SCOOP! Thank you for adding the chapters this week ❤
Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, such great gaming, such a busy time, in the best way!

How do they not know that Wii came out in 2006?
This was the best discussion on AI I've heard in any media. Great job.
Why did Sam looked so pissed @8:43
Would absolutely not play an ai game. Would rather support human beings instead of our future robot overlords
kudos on that 20 Questions Win. Very leet trivia skills.
Definitely my favorite gaming podcast on earth !
29:19 that needs to be expanded upon bc its its true and the stories you hear these days of workers striking is just the begining
Yoooo shout out to Matt Kim in the Spurs top! Was not expecting to see that!
I’m happy Hotel Dusk is well remembered by the Scoop Crew

If we get to a point where A.I. can make movies the very first thing I'm doing is watching David Lynch's Return of the Jedi.
A Spurs shirt. Wwhhhyyy?!

A game with an AI city that lives and breathes fully, have political problems and true characters will happen in the next 5 years.
Let's go Matt Kim! #COYS
like like like
Matt repping his Spurs. Big respect.
Sam when you gonna invite me to your game room bro lol
Hey Daemon - did you listen to the new Gunship album yet??
Great show as always. Can anyone tell me what game this song is from? 43:12
That’s the Mii channel theme from the Wii
oh nice such a chill tune. never owned a wii@@enna12348
Why do they always have to bring up Starfield while talking about Baldur’s Gate 3? Like comparing Apples to Oranges 🧐
Well they’re both rpgs with party members, quests, stats, skills. They’re very similar. More like comparing a red apple to a green apple.
I SCOOPED my pants
Hell yea maybe ai can generate some games the fans want. Like a remake of saints row 1
Can Sam improve his poor quality mic! It was buzzing all episode.
dante's inferno and diablo VI and metal hellsinger are these games no longer sequels or will they not be sequels in the future?
Bring back Mark Cerny and AI cell architecture game programming please 🙏
Embargo is on my birthday 🙌🏼
Better movies that "Citizen Kane"?
Most Ubisoft Open-World games already feel AI generated.
Scoop!
COME ON YOU SPURS! Let's go, Matt Kim. #COYS

Matt wearing a Tottenham shirt. You love to see it
Liverpool gonna stomp you this weekend
Spider-Man will be a 8
People need to worry less about arbitrary numbers given to games
wait. Where's Sam going for the next few weeks?

It does
If the game is fun, I'd give the AI a shot.
Gotta agree. RE2Remake is simply superior to all RE games, even 4Remake.
Is that son heung min?
no, dont watch Kill la Kill on an airplane lmao
No. No I wouldn't.
A lot of "all time" talk on this episode.
Definitely, if its good👍
Is that Son Heung-min?
The spurs jersey ruined this episode for me
Who’s your team?

Resident Evil 2 Remake isn't the best RE game of all time. That is Resident Evil Remake from the GameCube.
I’m sure some people share that opinion
