Hello! For those asking for a step by step pattern, I unfortunately do not have one yet-- because this was a custom commission, I was working with exact measurements and not recording a written pattern. But hopefully in the future, if/when my schedule allows, I can create a pattern with graded sizing and measurements :)

I used double crochet for the body of the vest and then back loop single crochet for the gold ribbing!

don't forget to measure yourself if you are plus size like myself. another way to make it would be to make the diamonds and then slip stitch them together . But it is a bit more time consuming because you have to constantly measure and calculate how many diamonds you need in each color. ikoux has a tutorial on it.
