Thanks for the Charticulator videos, Ruth. They're really useful, keep them coming. For the variance chart's X axis you can place a measure with value 0 onto the data axis. Tie a line to it in the glyph and link them. This creates the zero axis.
The guide is static, so the line placed on it is static too. It won't necessarily be at the right place when the variance data changes. On the other hand drawing a horizontal line tied to "orgin" value (which is zero) on the data axis and linking these lines will always sit at zero. There might be an easier way to do it, this is what I could figure out. :) Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you for all these videos Ruth! They are so helpful and useful!! 😊Is it possible to know whether it is any possibility to combine (or create) a scatter chart with a custom line?
Thanks Ruth, One question if i may: If you have a lot more points on your Axis, how do you make Charticulator not stack them withinin the visible boundaries of the viz, but instead add a scroll bar to navigate left and right ?
Great video, Ruth! Does the charticulator allow linked dots? I have tried to replicate your examples, but it did not joined the dots as a third metrics on the chart?
I'm sure it's possible but I'm not sure it's practical but would you be able to demonstrate how to create a Venn diagram? The custom visuals aren't that great.
Awesome tutorial! Thanks, Ruth! Can the Variance bar be a little thinner? Like 1/4 of an Actual bar? I tried several settings but I am new to Charticulator and cannot find a way. ***Edit: Never mind - I found! Add a new Guide...***
Ruth, creía que con la actualización de Mayo había quedado totalmente integrado Charticulator en Power BI, y ya no había que irlo actualizando. ¿No es así? En el blog de Microsoft entre las actualizaciones pusieron: "With the latest version of Charticulator, the visual is now generally available." Saludos.
Generally available means that the tool is out of beta, kind of ready to use at scale or for production but it doesn’t mean it has been integrated in power bi. Hopefully soon!

That is how I did it :)

I mean at 10:16.
You mean to place the guide?

You are so right ! Thanks!
You are on fire today Ruth! And both of yours videos is what I needed :) Thank you for your hard work creating these for us!
🔥🔥🔥 catching up for last weeks’s slack!!
This is great - thanks Ruth!! 💛
My pleasure!

You can, try adding it to the glyph
Another question: What if I want the Variance and the Main Data Axis share the same scale?
Excellent! Can it be scrollable? I want to build the exact same chart, but vertical. If I have many items, I'll need to scroll. Is it possible?
You can scroll , but it is not pretty :(
Great video, do you know how to achieve a hatched background similar to what's being recommended by IBCS as well ?
Maybe if you use an image instead of the rectangle? No sure how pretty that would be though…

You can add scroll bars, haven’t done it yet though. Give it a go!
When I resize the whole visual, only the first Glyph resizes, the second stays as is. Is there a solution for both Glyphs resizing?
You should be able to resize both?
Great!

Maybe? Would you mind posting in our LinkedIn group? I don’t have time at the moment and maybe someone else can help?

Please make network or waterfall chart, need it for a project but not able to make
Yes, it is on my list!
