It’s funny that you mention that you prefer to use the Humvee for its small size while this thing screams “IM HERE SHOOT ME” because back in the day one of my buds in PSYOPs used to ride around in Humvees that literally shouted IM HERE SHOOT ME YOU HADJI FUCKS. Too bad I’ve never seen that replicated in Arma because we’d have the best of both worlds.
I like the humvee more too. You can jump to the gunner seat while still sliding in to the position and shoot the tow. + you can actually use buildings and even smaller sheds as concealment/cover.

One of these days I need to try out king of the hill.
Its fun! Just be wary that in some matches you'll get spawn camped hard, especially if the enemy has established air superiority, best investment you can do if you start out is get the first 2 perk slots and then perma buy an AT weapon ( M3 MAAWS w/ HEAT for the US, RPG-7 VL for the russian side) you can make back cash fast by just roaming around hunting down stray vehicles, just gotta be careful

How do you put 2 TOW missiles into the side of a T-72 and not kill it? Do vehicles in ARMA have realistic damage modeled or are they just health bars.
Arma being arma,usually one TOW missile is enough, i just spammed 2 missiles to make sure, they usually take time to "cook off" on how RHS modeled it
They are semi realistically modeled. Not as accurate or detailed as some games but each major component can be individually targeted and destroyed including compenents inside the tank. It looks like the second round missed as the tank escaped through the dust cloud created by the first impact.

Is there an APS system in Arma ?
Because in Armored Warfare
It really needs extra skills to take down Vehicles with APS using ATGM's
As example
If i was using a GAZ platform armed with 4x Kornet ATGM and fires 4 of them simulationaously to an enemy vehicle with Hard Kill APS
It would be a waste of ammo, because the APS could've just destroy all of them
not that i know of on the RHS Mod no(but they do use relatively realistic values for the Armor thickness and how much your AT weapon can penetrate based on where you hit them + Fragmentation/spalling which ends up killing the crew), but the server i play on has a script where if they pop IR Smoke it fucks with most ATGM's heading your way, obviously wont work against "dumbfire" weapons like Rocket Launchers and Unguided Rockets

So Mi-24 goes down with one shot immediately while little bird continue to somewhat manoeuvre? As legit as ATGM-ing T-90s and A1M1s into the rear armour with two (even more sometimes) shots
Any abrams variant explodes immedeatly if you hit the back of the turret, even with just an RPG. A tank with its tracks disabled and the turret down is a destroyed tank, making it explode is just a gamey server thing since its so easy to repair them here.
its a ArmA3 thing and any armor penetrating weapon will barely do shit. you can kill a BMP from the front with a few 25mm APFSDS shot but in ArmA you need like 50 rounds. ZSU-23-4 can be easily killed and in ArmA3 a TOW can't make sure a 90+% kill chance. All HEAT round are also nerfed against soft targets too.
And ofc I haven't talk about those OP as fk vanilla armor.
like how i just got chipped to death in a T-80 by a ZSU-35 in 10 sec
The TOW launcher he has 2 small warheads facing down to its not effective at direct fire its designed to shoot above tanks, and shooting a tank in the engine isnt going to destroy it that fast
@@josh_jc_cheng You have clearly never played with these RHS mods in the video. The ZSU-23 will die 100% of the time to any ATGM hit. You can kill it with a couple dozen 50cal rounds in the ass.
Sniping the crew out of a BMP with 5 25mm rounds is a kill. Having to make the tank go boomboom for $ and xp is a server thing.

@@buggeroff2747 lel, even then the only heavy arty available in RHS is the OTR-21 toschka, HIMARS, BM-21, M109 Paladin, 2S1 and 2S3, and those are not in the RHS vehicle server with how destructive they are lmao, especially the HIMARS with its cluster munitions and BM-21 rain of death

laser guided? TOWs are wire or radio guided.
They can be IR guided as well as Optical Sensor Guided

TOW's are SACLOS missiles guided through wires or radio transmissions between the guidance unit and the missile.

its definitely suffering when you just start out, but once you do get the hang of it, grind until you have enough to buy 2 perk slots, after that grind again to be able to permanently buy an anti-tank weapon, M3 MAAWS is the best one if you main the US Side, RPG-7 is also good for the russians but you will need PG-7VR Rockets to dent heavy tanks like the abrams. once you get those earning money becomes abit easier especially if you just buy a cheap vehicle and hunt down enemy armor

What’s the dif tow ammo type and how should I use it
2A for general purpose usage, 2B for tanks, it will explode on top of them and 90% of the time 1 hit K.O them, very effective too against the BLUFOR BUSK 3
