Had to clear a sociopath woman out of my house a few years ago. I was sure she would try to call the cops and pull the false DV claim. So I got her to go stay in her apartment one night. That night I packed up all of her stuff she had here, got a locksmith to come over in the middle of the night to change the locks, rented a storage unit for 2 months and took all her stuff down there early the next morning. Then I texted her and told her where she could pick it all up and that she had no reason to be anywhere near my house. It worked.

Cell phone cameras aren't the only way to deal with violence. They're the only way to deal with the first instance. But if you're married, and even suspect things are turning south, security cameras are a godsend, as well as a web camera. "Ctrl-R", and OBS would be recording. But just walking in and seeing the blue lights on the web camera were enough for my wife to turn around and leave the room. My former social group wouldn't care about evidence about her. But if she called the cops, she knew she'd be the one getting arrested.

I’ve come across too many “ Party girls “ and you just know internally it won’t go anywhere for absolutely anything potentially long-term. They’re the absolute worse sorts. Nothing makes sense to you about them ( which is a red flag straight away ) They are not worth the time as alot of them aren’t.
I was saved by my phone from 5 years in prison, however I was arrested and put in jail. In Spain, even acquisitions of domestic violence have to go to court without a police investigation. The court case (2 work days later) would have given me 5 years but the recording (audio only) saved me and my access to my daughter. It truly scares what would have happened if the phone has messed up or the police accidently deleted the file.
Sometimes it's better to keep your phone in a pocket while recording. That way the offender shows their unrestrained behavior. Guess my plans for retirement in Spain is no more.
