Have you ever tried to make your own cyanoacrylate accelerator? Well, in this video, we give it a shot! Uploaded on 02/20/2022. Music by www.BenSound.com
The spout on the can is set to one side, so it can be poured without spilling, by tipping the can with the spout at the top. A bit counter intuitive but give it a try.
Building guitars I use a ton of liquid accelerant. It can be costly, so, I decided to try alternatives. I tried; alcohol, ammonia, bleach, then chlorine. They all accelerated but only chlorine got rock hard. Chlorine also dried faster than the others. How did chlorine compare to the can of accelerator I've been buying? Not as good. Chlorine dried around 20% the speed of the CA accelerator. I also use baking soda which works fine for fixing bone, bindings, and anything when I need a super thick glue
Geeze, did he ever take a Science class? Or a Home Ec Cooking Class? Think of all the time he could save us all had he figured it all out before making his 'tutorial!' Why's he using his 3D printer for a work surface?

thanks for showing some with the sodium hydroxide. Some use baking soda but it's so weak that's pouring more cloudy white matter on.
Just a quick tip if you try this, DON'T use the water. There's enough water in the isopropyl alcohol. It works much better with much less water!
Can you add the final mixture formula to this video, or put it in the notes of the video description?
I saw a video where it was mentioned that you can use Windex with Amonia/
So, a year later, what did you find to work the best?
