Did it yesterday. Wonderful dough!!! Loved the texture. My pizza was amazing. Just to give you an idea: I put Béchamel sauce, mozzarella, smoked Gouda, smoked blue cheese, mushrooms, fresh basil, garlic powder and pepper on top, Splash of olive oil. Delicious.
I have tried this. And you are right about bread crumbs, they make pizza even more crusty. Everyone loved it! making it today again trying with semolina. TY Sir Genaro!
I usually buy them, they are very cheap. But you can make them if you have old quality bread just mix them in food processor. For some reason pizza with "semolina" was sticking to the pan, so I would advise using bread crumbs.

@Anon take off the tomatoe skin from many tomatoes, heat a little oil, add a clove of garlic, wait till it gets brown and release the flavor to the oil, out the peeling tomatoes , crash them. If tomatoes are sweet just add a little salt, if tomatoes are sour add a 1/2 tea spoon of sugar. In medium heat bring the tomatoes to boil, lower the heat to minimum and cook without the lid for at least 40 min. The consistency of ready sauce should be thick and not watery。add a little olive oil for richness Ans that’s your marinara

i just made this pizza! i would recommend adding a little bit of sugar to enhance the flavor of the dough, and also adding a bit more water bc the flour was too much for my dough and made it dry at first. other than that, it was fantastic and to proof my dough for 2 hours, I put it in my oven at the top rack (oven was off) with a damp towel over it and put boiling water in a pan at the bottom rack of my oven, so the steam reached the top rack and allowed the dough to rise really really well. i cooked mine at 320 C tho bc i didnt want it to burn for 10 mins

I am not good at kneading so I put the ingredients in bread machine (yeast mixed with warm water then followed by 00 flour & salt) & chose dough setting. Dough comes out perfect!

Made this today and doubled the recipe because i had a few more guest coming, and it was perfect! Didnt have a pizza stone, so just used a normal pan, took longer to cook, maybe like 15min. I also kneaded it for longer than the video, but turned out great! Would definitely recommend!!!

I just made this pizza again, and it was better than the first time I made it, simply delicious. The first time I made it, it was the best I’d ever eaten but this time it was even better - because I knew how much of each item to add to my preference. Since there are only a few ingredients, you have to use the best. The second one I used dried basil and it was wonderful. The first time, I felt the fresh basil was a little too powerful. I recommend for you to make this. Simply amazing. 💖

i just made this pizza! i would recommend adding a little bit of sugar to enhance the flavor of the dough, and also adding a bit more water bc the flour was too much for my dough and made it dry at first. other than that, it was fantastic and to proof my dough for 2 hours, I put it in my oven at the top rack (oven was off) with a damp towel over it and put boiling water in a pan at the bottom rack of my oven, so the steam reached the top rack and allowed the dough to rise really really well. i cooked mine at 320 C tho bc i didnt want it to burn for 10 mins

Thank you Gennaro for this simple recipe. I tried a few recipes but never got the right texture until I tried this recipe. I am not good at kneading so I put the ingredients in bread machine (yeast mixed with warm water then followed by 00 flour & salt) & chose dough setting. Dough comes out perfect!

Made this today and doubled the recipe because i had a few more guest coming, and it was perfect! Didnt have a pizza stone, so just used a normal pan, took longer to cook, maybe like 15min. I also kneaded it for longer than the video, but turned out great! Would definitely recommend!!!

I love his passion so much that I had to buy an Italian made pizza from the store just the other day, and the taste is out of this world!❤️ The flour dough taste alone…is totally different from what I’ve been used to here in America. The pizza had just a little sauce like the one this guy made here, and very little cheese. I so enjoyed the pizza that I’m planning to stock up on that pizza in my upright freezer…I’m not kidding you. As a nurse, I had stayed away from eating pizza and Chinese food because of the too much cheese on American pizzas and too much oil used in Chinese foods and the causes of heart diseases in America. So, when I found the Italian pizza made from Italy, I was definitely going to try it out. Even the most expensive pizza here in Chi town doesn’t even compare.

I just made this pizza again, and it was better than the first time I made it, simply delicious. The first time I made it, it was the best I’d ever eaten but this time it was even better - because I knew how much of each item to add to my preference. Since there are only a few ingredients, you have to use the best. The second one I used dried basil and it was wonderful. The first time, I felt the fresh basil was a little too powerful. I recommend for you to make this. Simply amazing. 💖
