Harry I downloaded your "Clean" patch and I have to tell you that this is one of the most versatile patches I've ever downloaded. I play country, rock and top 40 here in Las Vegas and this patch works great for just about everything I do. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

I purchased a used one on this particular model a while back and I’m having trouble getting the concept of making patches I used to have the line 6 x3 live and it was easy to make them I think it’s how the screen is set up. Any advise? I really appreciate it and I’ll be looking out for that patch of yours
There's nothing clean about any of this. "Clean" is 100% no distortion. None. Nothing. Nada. Zero. I'm still very upset with this purchase and I know I'll never get back what I paid for this brick.
I can't believe creating a clean tone on this machine is such a pain. I can create a clean tone on my Bosst GT100 with no effects on or amp modelling and just setting the global input gain lower than 0db. I'm not saying against Line6. Me myself had this HD500 before which I sold after a week because I cannot get a decent clean tone out it. Now I have a Line6 X3 live which has input gain calibration function.
I'm also baffled they don't have a swell effect in this thing out of the box either, and even done with a mod effect it's sub-par on this unit in my opinion. I had one of the old Floor Pod Plus units which I sold when I got this, and it did exactly what I needed in my music. I was surprised that there were a few basic things missing from the HD500 that the old FPP had.
