How well do they hold up? I've had my Roland PD21's for over 30 years and are just now starting to fail me and 3 Alesis Nitro Mesh toms and 1 snare arrive today!
Nice job. Simple but effective...nice twirls too! I've been the worship drummer at our church since 1987 on a double kick Roland PD-21 electronic drum kit with a TD-7 Turbo in 90's and praise & worship lead singer on my TD-6 since early 2000's. My PD21's after 30+ years are starting to fail me due to imagine that ...AGE of all things and I just ordered a set of 3 Alesis Nitro Mesh toms and 1 snare like yours off eBay, and they are actually scheduled to arrive today 010322 by UPS in the snow! How well do these hold up?
Hey Roger! Sorry I missed your comment. Hopefully the Alesis is working out for you. It’s a good beginner electronic kit as far as I can tell. Definitely not quite enough for the experienced drummer but nice to have fun with. Great to hear of another worship drummer. God bless you.
@@davidpoag4787 Thanks! Actually I still haven't hooked them up as I was waiting for some more parts since Alesis mounts are smaller diameter than Roland, Ultimate Support or Gibraltar. Funny, we actually did "Way Maker" last Sunday, but my wife likes the Michael W. Smith version because of the girl singing it, which doesn't have as good of an audio for the drums, and since I'm playing over a recording (yeah, no full band...haven't had one for 10+ years) I tend to hold back so I don't get lost in the heavy tom laden fills. I prefer Leeland's version or other ones where I can cut loose...I love MWS, don't get me wrong, just not his live video version of Way Maker...drums are too low in the audio mix.
