For the price that this Encore is available now, this is a good deal. Although not played in stereo, the best feature is still the sound quality, beating the party go even though that's stereo
This speaker sounds like it has deeper bass than that one
I would probably use it like a normal in home hifi sine the bass can be bounced off the walls via that bass port

The tweeters are pointing slightly outwards, expanding the stereofield.
Thanks for this video! Really helps a lot. I really want to get the Encore for that additional battery juice and functionality, but the deal breaker for me here is that JBL didn't put a mic input. Once the included wireless mics break, you're stuck with just playing music off of it. Unless JBL offers these microphones in their store. Getting the Encore Essential gives us the mic input, but it has the worse battery of the two. Your thoughts on it? Thank you!
Your absolutely right, but we cannot find all the good features from just 1 model.. that's how the manufacturers are playing with consumers. Its just a matter of considering w/c do u really need

You can get the replacement mics for the Encore. They just do not advertise them on website.
I believe you can use any mic wired/wireless with a mixer plug into aux-in port
In my opinion, Ok na sana sounds nito at battery life, cons lng walang quitar input and mic input,what if masira ang 2 mics nito, wala na option better parin on the go.if masira free mic pwde pa mag wire mic or bili another wireless mic.😄

Can the mic be replaced with another wireless mic? In case the 2 built in mics malfunction.
Not directly.. you can use a sound card to use another mic to Encore

There is no option to replace the mic directly for now unfortunately.
You can get replacement microphones for Encore, yes. They just do not have them on their website.

Does the wireless mic automatically connect when on? Or is it via bluetooth / plugged in wireless receiver? I want to know if I can plug a guitar while using the mics
Hi. Yes the wireless mic is pre connected. All u have to do is switch it on. Unfortunately. There is no place to connect a guitar of a wired mic.

Are the controls at the top strictly settings for the microphone or does it also adjust the eq settings for the music input? I’m looking for a speaker that can have isolated microphone controls.
The controls on the top is for karaoke settings only. You can used the partybox app to control the EQ settings when play music

It lasts pretty good although not as good as my 110. Even though the encore gets to less hours than the 110 I have noticed that playing it for a while the battery decreases pretty quick but I think it’s just because I’ve gotten used to the battery on the 110. I did a test and
inspected the driver while playing low frequencies and on the 110 the drivers barely move, but on the encore it was moving like a sub and had clean bass. The 110 obviously has slightly better highs and slightly better mids but that is due to its bigger tweeters. I’m really happy with it and how good it sounds!
is this more like a pa system or we can karaoke using youtube and their mic without lattency?
Absolutely bro. Connect your tablet, mobile device of tv. Turn on the supplied mic and enjoy the singing karaoke. Or pllay music while party lights are on

@@WhiTeWolFz7 stands no chance against this speaker. Boombox 2 sounds better than the OTG and for reference, the bass and sound quality on the Encore/Encore Essential destroys the Boombox 2

Ang takot ko talaga dito eh kapag nasira yung mic. Kaya sa encore essential ako napunta. Although iba tlga kapag built-in mic. Experience ko sa PB on the go built in mic walang static sound at feedback.
Would like to have remote control vibrator in that microphone which can sync with music. Really nice design microphone though. Bigger always better.

I was gonna order the On-The-Go, but in America it only comes with one mic. Plus I will be using it mostly at home in my family room corner so it’s compact size and rear bass port will be a better fit/sound.

@@BernardoAlung-yp1kv Yup I bought it directly from JBL when I saw it came with 2 mics. Had a few parties at our house then a bunch of my family and friends ended up buying the Encore as well! Maybe a dozen of us all tog lol! They went on sale for $250 at Sam’s Club!

Hi! I connected my encore to my tv to use it as a speaker and then stream youtube on my phone to the tv for karaoke but it wont play. Is this possible to do or not? Thanks for the help
I also did the same with my samsung phone I connect it to partybox encore for sound and my phone screenshare to my tv so you can view it in a larger screen open youtube in your phone and you can have your own videoke setup.
Connect ur tv to ur partybox using wired connection like aux and it will work just fine while mirroring ur phone to ur tv

@@shanks00777 hindi adviseable yung ganun sir kahit na mas malakas ang effect or sounds niya. Nasisira kasi siya. Same as with phones. So better charge it ng matagal before using it para mas sulit. Masisira rin kasi ang battery kapag ginagamit ng naka-plug. Parang nagd'depende na dun yung power supply niya. So iwasan natin yun

Ordered two of these regular encores, cuz essential has a even worse battery. 5-10 hours play back would make me very happy, but some people claim the encore not essential model plays for 3 hours on 50% battery, will get mine Monday if its that bad i will have to return them sadly
