- At the end of the Second World War, a number of evil concentration camp guards were executed for their crimes. Herbert Paul Ludwig was a notorious guard of Auschwitz that was known for his brutality and beatings of inmates and he also sent thousand of people to their deaths inside of the gas chambers. Ludwig was a very feared many inside of the deadliest concentration camp of World War 2, and he was then sentenced to death. Ludwig was then executed inside of a Polish prison years after the war had come to an end.

Imagine the last face you ever see on this earth is the monstrous grins of a guard beating your loved ones as you are being shoved, naked into a shower room with 300+ others. Absolute horror, peace to the lost 🙏🏻💗
My great grandmother showed me notes that my great grandfather sent her from Auschwitz. Sometimes, he would have to work a double before clocking out.
the women who were walking to the "shower" room were naked and walked past German Guards that sexually abused them as they walked to their death. This was Nazi germany !

I tend to agree with the normally restrained Walter Cronkite, who attended the war trials. He commented that a quick death was much too good for most of the defendants.
if you're wondering why he wasn't an impartial journalist, it's because his entire career he was used to steer public opinion . even being given the appellation "the most trusted man in america" to help
