I'll never understand why Nickelback gets so much hate, their music is all pretty good. Definitely check out their songs "If Today Was Your Last Day," "Someday," and "How You Remind Me"
I don't understand either. Even if you don't care for Nickleback, there are certainly worse artists on the radio every day.
I think for most it was over exposure. They were always putting out music and always on the radio so there wasn't really a break. Right now I'd say that hate shifted to imagine dragons which I don't get either.
It’s the way chad acts that pisses people off for the most part. They have a few good songs but he acts like they’re gods gift to music. Like when he calls out other bands and says that they’re not as good as him and nickelback even though while they have good songs other than their hits they tend to be really generic. And he’s prone to acting like a baby if he gets booed. At least that’s what I’ve seen is the general consensus. It’s not really the music part other than them being kinda boring and not really doing anything different than their first album. It’s mostly just him as a person that rubs people the wrong way

I went to see them in concert last year and he was really a cocky asshole on stage, like he was trying to prove how much he could drink and still sing. I like a lot of their songs but Chad's antics take away from the enjoyment.
This song is the definition of "You can't go home again" meaning those times, those friends, those places, those events in your past are long gone. Just memories are all that remain.

This was my graduation song. I remember walking down the aisle after the ceremonies and this song played for all of us. For me, this song represents a transition from youth to adulthood. It helps to remind teens that highschool is not the end-all/be-all of life. Enjoy your youth while you have it, because before you know it, it's gone. So make memories for yourself that will last and enjoy life while you can.

I’m almost certain this was filmed in their hometown. Hanna, Alberta, Canada. And they use their old high school, friends, etc for it. The stories he’s telling is stuff that actually happened to them, it’s pretty neat. I love nickelback.

God this song brings me back to those high school days that I miss so much! My parents said you are going to miss these days and of course as a stubborn child I never believed them but they were 100% correct! Wish I could go back change all the bad decisions I made and enjoy those simpler days!

Prom was okay for me. I regret not going to junior prom so I’m glad I went senior year so that I have the experience.
I know the band/song gets a lot of crap but it really does remind me of high school.
My college friends are still my best friends. We lived together in the dorms, but I don’t have nostalgia for it in the same way.
25 years this year.
I didn't get to go to my senior prom. I was denied a ticket. I am so thankful that one of my beat friends took me to his senior prom my junior year.
Prom was ok. The keg party after was a whole lot better.

Nickleback has always gotten so much over-the-top hate. Mostly because it’s the it thing to do. But they have some great songs. They just good, relatable, easy-listening rock/pop. I like them

Great song! It's pretty sad about graduation being cancelled this year. You make a good point that they will look back on this like no other class. Some yearbooks are being cancelled because senior pictures were not taken. We are trying to get them to just let parents take photographs submit them digitally.
