Was this in somewhat rocky terrain? I do most of my hunting in Leakey TX and it’s very rocky. I’ve had a problem with seeing a lot of “hot” coming off the rocks when I use my pulsar XQ38… looking for a newer upgraded thermal that might take away some of the hot off the rocks.

It was out in West Texas around Sonora Tx
