I spent 14 hours with my friend to build this house. We got really crazy, started laughing at "jimmy come on jimmy" and kept building. I love how the house came out but my mental health has not been repaired. 10/10 would build again.
This was my first ever survival house (I usually just mess around in creative) and it was a really good tutorial: it wasn't too hard to follow or replicate and it was fun to build. Great place to hang out in as a home base!
Just so everyone knows, it did not take me hours to gather wood for this house it took me around 45 minutes. You need like 7 stacks of spruce wood logs and 4 of them are stripped logs. It doesn't take that long ❤

I had to plant a spruce tree farm with a few saplings in order to farm enough spruce wood for the build because I wasn't in the right biome, totally worth it though.
Currently 4 hours into tree farming and I'm 8 minute threw the build. Mental note, build big tree farm first. Edit: Also make sure you have all the iron in the world before making tools and lanterns. Edit 2: It's been a month...
where you made the secret storage room I actually made a piston contraption that is silenced by a bell sound which gets activated from one of the buttons on the logs putside the house and has a limited timer till it closes with repeaters (redstone is exposed but its cool)
I got every material besides an amythest bud.. do you need a solo touch pickaxe for that? And I’m gonna build it without the bud I hope it’s not a big detail
House is beautiful but you should work on camera move like i need to guess where you place something and its hard a little but everythingbother is great

I had 16 stacks over all and still not enough, I Still didnt finish the house, Im on the bricks part right now
You may be right about actial log blocks, but when you take jnto accound the stairs, planks, and more, it adds up to a totally different number
