- Beautiful July afternoon, UT LifeStar 3, based here at the Gatlinburg airport went out for a call.
Can't beat the site and sound of a Bell 407!
The lady stood out in front of the helicopter during the initial start up just to show she wasn’t afraid of it.
i have a pic of me standing in front of LS3. its got a new paint scheme on it. a huge thanks ut lifestar for the tour of the LS3 base in my town

@2matohead agree! intermountain life flight here in utah has a 407 and its no doubt what it is, can hear it miles away.

See PHIs 407 flying runs between St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and Lafayette almost daily. The sound signature of the 407 is unmistakable. Its an awesome ship.

These guys flew my father to the hospital for emergency open heart. It was all fun and games until the bill came. $28,000 is what his portion came out to be, Ridiculous,

Corvette Kid More than that. Just the cost of fuel was itemized out at $4300. The airport takeoff and landing fee was $800. Throw in fight medics, two pilots, all the disposable shit like oxygen mask, disinfectant, etc.We challenged the bill and got it down to $16,000, but still...
