"I won't replace the thermal paste. That's ok because they weren't complaining about overheating, and we can just do that later if they complain" Brutal. Haha!
Thanks for a such video. Did you find a suitable cover screw? I am not able to determine this screw thickness 2 mm or 2.5 mm, the length is 18 mm. I am trying to find the screws set for this model, and I forgot to measure a socket radiator's screws when I disassembled.
How is it possible? It's completely overheating, very primitive cooling system. I dream to play AoW 4 normally, but even with a new thermal paste & paste it's an overcoming task.
I have the exact same model and I tried to do the same thing with a new nvme drive but the old one is SATA and I didn't think they were compatible so I didn't touch anything so I plugged it back in and then I closed the computer without touching anything else I've done this before when I cleaned the fans but now the screen won't turn on and the fans won't blow if I plug it after a few minutes the fans will run at Max speed still ice cold the USB doesn't work in the mouse won't light up or won't talk to any external drives what have I broken also cant get in to BIOS

I have a ASUS GL753V GL753VE-DS74, how can you tell if your laptop supports NVMe, I currently have a Micron 1100 SATA M.2 2280. Can I install a NVMe SSD?
The back of the motherboard, there is a large piece of copper, is also used to heat dissipation. The CMOS battery is also on the back of the motherboard
By a clean fresh install do you mean wipeing and factory restarting the pc and then installling the pcle nvme ssd i just went and picked one up its 2 tb by crucial
@ItsBinhRepaired no I did not how do I go about doing that?I just unplugged the old hdd and old ssd and put in the new ssd but looks like imma have to put the old stuff back in to install windows idk?

@@parkermaggard8862 not sure what else could be messed up. Try one stick of RAM at a time.

Other than trying it, I have no clue.
@@ItsBinhRepaired i managed to chat with Asus support. I could upgrade only to SATA M.2 storage 512GB
512gb limit is a lie.
There are boards where the m.2 slot supports both.
Where are the RAM slots?
Under a plastic flap.
HI, WHERE'S THE CMOS BATTERY LOCATION?
Not sure, possibly the main battery acts as the cmos.
How do you get to the cmos battery?
Not sure. It might use the main battery as the cmos battery
:(

That sucks
