Damn that’s a really cool fuzz tone man. It’s also great that it keeps that very sparkly fender clean pickup sound. Really versatile axe you’ve got there, can’t wait to see you chop it up. As a request, can you do a video playing the velvet underground original version of here she comes now? You have a video of the nirvana cover and I think you used to have a video on the original, but I suppose time has gotten rid of that since I can’t find it. Also that was a whole lot of your face you showed there man, I forgot you were even human, in my mind your face is that beanie mask you wore on the singing cover videos haha. Cheers mate
Thanks man. Yeah the sounds here are all from a Boss Katana. The original Here She Comes Now I wanted to play but the opening riff is on a 12 string, I guess I could still try it though. I also want to do a proper cover of Lady Godiva's but still haven't figured out how to play it properly. The guitar parts in both those songs are similar and it's difficult to figure out. Haha yeah I think sometimes I need to remind myself that I'm human
I would chalk it up to the terrible mixing on that record. I tried picking out the notes to lady Godiva once and at some point I couldn’t distinguish Lou and sterlings guitars from each other. I love that album but it has very low production value. Here she comes now is easy to learn but that 12 string sound is very signature. I just sort of make up for it by boosting bass and using the neck pickup. Sounds different, but good as well
By the sounds of it from the documentary they had issues with that album, though I actually kinda like it that way. I know what you mean though, it is kind of muddy.
I got a post-2020 copy. I think they had started using rosewood again, not that it matters much to me. I keep it stock. I like it as is, even the garish, golden pickguard. It's like when someone sees it and knows what it is I think "I'll probably get along with this person," heh. Just a good guitar, all around.
Sounds good and looks cool! I have the more recent release, with an Indian Laurel fretboard. The Mascis JMs live up to the hype. Mine has an excellent neck (like you describe, slightly beefy), very low action, impressive fret work, and a flawless finish. The main toggle switch feels cheap, but that’s small potatoes. She’s a keeper for sure.
Love yer vids! Nice job! Had a JM JZZMSTR but it was stolen. In the market for another. BTW, what was the cool tune started @ 1:31? Didnt recognize it… anyone? Thnx
Thanks mate! I got this for a good deal so you might be able to get one for a good price on the used market. I feel like the hype may have worn off, hence the lower price. The new player 2 ones are nice too with a thin neck. Bit more expensive though. The music in this video is all original, just for the purpose of the demo.
@ hey thanks for the reply. Just now seeing it. Dude, you should start doing vids of your originals. I really was diggin’ that tune enough to try to seek it out. Seriously. Nicely done.
@ I see. So you have been buying and selling your guitars over the years. Did you sell your black fender jaguar? I am also aware that you sold your Gibson SG and your fender Stratocaster player series.
Oh yeah. If you haven't seen me play a guitar in a while, assume I sold it. I don't have the Black Jag or the Epiphone SG or the Yamaha or Player Series Strat. I don't really like having too many guitars, I really would just like to have been a 'one-guitar-guy' but the Cyclone has always been problematic and I just never settled on an alternative.
I’m not sure about the jaguar. My player jaguar neck was quite thin. If you want a really thin jazzmaster neck, try the player 2 jazzmaster. Neck is really thin, with a satin finish. Very comfortable.
I should have said ‘modded’ parts to be fair. It actually didn’t come with the original bridge, I just put the mustang one on because I didn’t like the traditional jazzmaster bridge it came with. Going to get a roller bridge if I can find one that fits
Bloxsy just seen your face 😮
It was a moment like if we ever find out what Banksy looks like 😂👍🏼
2:41 your face :3
i guess you can say this guitar is a kool thing
I hope to see this in regular rotation in future vids! It’s a thing of beauty.
Sound dark, evil and free, I like it

You should more these types of videos, love the fuzz tone this guitar has
It suits your sound and very much matches your clothes/look. Its a great fit for you and your channel
Thank you!
This guitar is so sleek man. Congrats :)
Thanks man
Definitely some cool mods, man, love the new look and it also sounds great

That's a gorgeous looking jazz master 😍
Thanks!

Thank you. Yeah the toggle switch on mine is quite sensitive. If you accidentally touch it seems to switch quite easily.
@ Haha, same here. Like it wants to be in the center position.
Oh right so it’s not just mine then!
Sounds absolutely amazing 🖤🤘😍
Looks great
That is a lush guitar man

Wonderful
1:50 what song is this
Wondering the same… very cool…
So cool
Wow cool. Also, what happened to your other guitars? Which ones do you still have? Do you still use them?
I still have my Cyclone, tele and v100. My v65 I’ll probably get rid of as I got this jazzmaster to replace it.
@ I see. So you have been buying and selling your guitars over the years. Did you sell your black fender jaguar? I am also aware that you sold your Gibson SG and your fender Stratocaster player series.

noice I do like a jazzmaster
It’s beautiful… is the neck similar to a jaguar's to the touch ? I though it was more like a mustang, which I love how thin it is
Also congrats on your face reveal man!
I’m not sure about the jaguar. My player jaguar neck was quite thin. If you want a really thin jazzmaster neck, try the player 2 jazzmaster. Neck is really thin, with a satin finish. Very comfortable.
Thanks!
Also, with that Jazzmaster, you should cover some Bush songs
Yeah. Sixteen Stone anniversary coming up apparently.
OMG YOUR FACE :"D
Fuzz é foda!!!!
Viva o fuzzrite, superfuzz,big muff...
You are a very cool guy
That can't be a J Mascis, it isn't purple 😂
She’s beautiful man. If you ever wanna sell it 😊
what was the first song u played?
It was an original riff. Partly inspired by Negative Creep
Thought you’re playing Negative Creep at the start 😂
Sort of. It's like Negative Creep meets Children Of The Grave.
Sweet guitar! Also, face reveal.
Do you still have the Black Jaguar?
No I sold it
@@bloxsy_😢 nooooooo
Nice axe
#fuzzmaster4ever!!!!!!!!
Very nice 👌
Like deployed 👍
I don't see how a mustang bridge is an upgrade compared to a TOM.

What's a TOM?
@@tommyconancoates7097 tune o matic
Sounds like MBV…
2024 face reveal
Why were you afraid to show your face? You look like that one cool uncle which everyone wanted to have
