    Was started by SF guys who used to cut it down into rectangles and sew old Kip sheets over them so they were waterproof!! Only used enough to go under trunk of body..

      Yeah the old kit repair guy at CTC used to make them up for lads on various courses good bits of kit

    Instructions unclear. Ended up on stag, then recce then model pit, then FUP. At what point do I deploy roll mat?

      No mate just folded and then kept under a weight for 24h keeps its shape after that 🤙

      Thanks will give it a go. I was told to fold the mat in two when I was a nod. (Dirty side goes to dirty side) but I like thus more.
