I have no problem with them taking it out but it wouldn't have been bad if it was in. I actually like it here because we don't see the rex at all until later. It was definitely a good idea to leave it out for the actual debut.
Me in a dream: **Gets hungry** "I wonder what prey there is around here." Subconscious in the dream: **spawns in a random fast food restaurant and an NPC to pay for it** Me: "You son of a bitch!"
I'm in the minority but I think the scene IS better with music. It's the same thing with Quint's death in *"JAWS"* where I think it's better with the intended cue: "Quint Meets His End". I never got why they cut the cue from the film but they used it in the trailer for both *"JAWS"* & *"JAWS 2",* as well as using it as background music for the level: "The Angry Armada" in the 2006 video game, *"JAWS: Unleashed".*
Grant says; "T-Rex doesn't want to be fed. He wants to hunt. Can't just suppress 65 million years of gut instinct". However he has it the wrong way round; dinosaurs had 200 millions years of gut instinct; 65 million is the period for which they were extinct.
Omg I have been wondering and wondering when I’m the heck this music was going to go…the harp thing about a third of the way in was my favorite moment of the soundtrack…not sure how I feel about the omission, but glad to see it here. What about the Rex attack scene? I heard that had a cue also, anyone know what it was?
“God creates dinosaur, God destroys dinosaur, God creates man, man destroys God, man creates dinosaur”
Ian having an existential crisis much?
”T REX doesn't wanna be fed He wants to hunt ” new words to live for
Scene works better without the music. Feels more organic and real. Wise decision to omit the cue.
I totally agree. It’s a nice creepy cue, but the silence terrified me as a kid, and still does
It has more tension without the music as well.
The music actually works pretty well here.
At 2:35, Sam Neill says "T-Rex doesn't want to be fed, he wants to hunt."
Really, he could say that about Homo Sapiens too, couldn't he?
not to mention, he misgendered that dino cause all the dinosaurs on the island were female.
Well news flash to both of them, life's not fair.
Better than allll jurassic park movies
The line about the T-Rex wanting to hunt is a metaphor for why I'm against getting with a prostitute even though I'm a virgin.
Whatsa matter kid, u nevr had lamp chops ?? XD
Chilled line ever from an office clerk
Right? Makes me laugh every time :D
The music score is similar to one in the movie Event Horizon.

They switched Tim and Lex's role in the movie

We all read imdb, kind sir.
Is it me, or at 0:19 seconds the fence doesn't connect all of the way along?
Kevin is in C-Bad right now
Yeah this scene is much better without the music.
0:15 always loved muldoon
he's the best!
Muldoon is my favourite character in this movie too.🥲🥲🥲🥲
@@RayOddname Muldoon is my favourite character in this movie as well.🥲🥲🥲🥲
I don't believe this is an "unused score" for this scene.
It is, it’s on the expanded Jurassic soundtrack edition released by La-La Land Records, cue title: Goat Bait. It’s even in the score sheet music
@@RayOddname Okay, thanks. Interesting.

At 00:19 you can see the red tip of a motion sensor on the left of the screen for a split second, as well as over grants shoulder at 2:35.
Gomorrah and the ordo of a step that yielded Ezekiel and how much room for the update.
lex says hes gonna eat the goat? tim answer excellent..

T rex uber ears coming soon....
Should have left in the T Rex intro by Richard Kiely.
spared no expense!
this park was going to fail with or without dennis lol
better without it
It adds a more sinister flavor to the scene from the original version
2:13 Wasn't he told earlier that all dinosaurs in the park are female?
well, malcolm was told - maybe Grant was distracted by the fact he was holding a raptor haha
HE!! IT SAYS HE!!!! There all females!
they're*

This is an allegory for married men, they don't want to be fed, they want to hunt. Without the hunt, their soul slowly dies.
I'm married. Hope this means I'm a T-Rex
@@RayOddname A T-Rex being fed goats 🤣
@@jackmoretti7943 after 30 years of “hunting” (as in, being rejected and drowning in feels), a nice goat sounds good to me 😂
