    5.0 Miata is awesome but I like the Fox better, That s197 looked great also, I just gave away mine 2 weeks ago, but mine was blue with gold wheels on it too

      Good thing the Miata isn't replacing the fox. I'm going to go back to school in this car so I can drive the Mustang better than ever.

    That is so effin' cool. How'd the rear mounted radiator work out? Water pump strong enough to push the coolant through the longer hoses?

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  Год назад

      it took some testing to get right, but now it's working great. I run the stock pump on the engine, and a high flow electric pump by the radiator. those provide plenty of flow.

    How did that hydraulic clutch work out for you? Anyway you can post a little small video of the clutch fork movement and where it sits adjusted?

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  2 года назад +1

      it worked out great, no further adjustment needed, i just made sure there was no slack while the clutch was fully engaged.

    Car looks amazing! How did the cooling system do for you during the day? What all have you done for cooling so far?

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  Год назад +1

      it works as good as expected, i can do about 4 hotlaps before hitting 230 degrees. it cools quickly when i come off track. I think the weak point right now is just air flow in general, but it's working well.

      I’m wondering if you could put some spacers in the back of the hood maybe an inch between hinges to let air dissipate out the backside like 240 guys do a lot.

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  Год назад +1

      @@BeDestructive i'd rather vent the hood than do the honda civic spacer mod, it's actually the trunk i need to vent better with the radiator in the rear, i'll chase that problem next year. thx for the tip.

    hey Iam looking to put back a 302 again in my fox but hard to find complete car ones of I do they are overpriced looking to do this without breaking the bank. Any suggestions would help. I know I can do the ford explorer 302s or mountainners but unsure of what will be needed to change. Oil pan ofc, front accessories unsure, wiring, fuel system driveshafwill be just a fun street car. Tired of letting it sit looking for a dash too

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  2 года назад +1

      302's are mostly all the same, if you have the Mustang wiring, you won't really need to change anything. The easiest way to swap a 302 into something is to use a Holley Sniper EFI like I have. i chose this system because it's mostly plug n play and i didn't neet to figure out what wires i need to convert to what.

      @romero.4089 2 года назад

      @@Sgt.Slides yea I do have all the wiring still all the way from the engine bay both sides

    • @Sgt.Slides
      @Sgt.Slides  2 года назад

      @@romero.4089 it should be a straight forward swap, the motors do not have significant differences.
