So many people forget that this same injury happened to him at Georgia. Knee bending the wrong way. Can't imagine what he's going through not just physically, but mentally. Hoping he recovers well.
Yeah I hope for the best but same time. Do you really want him to come back and happen again
It’s so sad. He wasn’t supposed to be this guy now and he defied the odds.
@@Recklessneono but if he doesn’t Browns better take care of him medically and financially . McKenzie Milton from UCF had the same injury a few years back
They will have to pay what ever his contact has left on it.

Prayers up for Chubb. Really hopes he gets to see the field again.
Maybe not for two years
He doesn't have an eye problem so I'm sure he'll see it again.
I hope he gets to walk and run normal again. He will be 29 next year and probably still won’t be ready. I think this might’ve been it for him sadly. Wishing him all the best.
@@TheProphegywow, he's 27 now, so that's an interesting jump in age you got him hitting next year.
Yes, prayers are what he needs.
6500 yards and 5.3 ypa in 6 seasons, was on pace for a HoF career.
Was on pace to beat Walter Payton
He could have been a top 10 running back all time. Maybe even top 5 or the goat
One of two potential HofF's on the field last night, and the guy who hit him ain't one of em.
He should still get in man honestly. His ypg is just stupid good. Cheat code level
@@bestplayeralive He would need to essentially double his current stats in order to get into the Hall. Very unlikely he would have made it even with another 5 years in the league.
It's unbelievable that he even played in the NFL past his college injury. To suffer multiple brutal knee injuries has to be gut wrenching but if anyone can get past it it's him.
Frank gore had it happen both knees and he went on to have a hof career. I’m hoping same for Chubb. If not I hope he made enough money to retire
@yenpham-jb4wo well probably not being a God damn running back
@@LightHitPasshes made millions. More than enough for any person to retire, if he hasnt blown most of it already, banking on more coming in
Alvin mack and chubbs can sit on the porch and remind each other how dirty football is nowadays.
@@jimmystrickland1034 its not dirty. Nfl created this problem when decided to change the allowed target area when tackling. No more going high so they gotta go low... offensive players overwhelmingly prefer to be hit high and risk concussions than to be cut out at the knees. Its not dirty because thats how the rules say the defenders have to tackle
He’ll never be the same again, from a Browns fan, I will always appreciate the hard work Chubb put in that led to excellence every single week, a Cleveland legend
It took two years for him to FULLY come back in the prime of his youth at UGA. He wasn’t the same in ‘16, wasn’t all the way Chubb until late ‘17.
He recovered FULLY from an almost identical injury before. Chubb is DIFFERENT, if anybody can come back from this it's him!🙏

Thanks for your take, he did it before, up to him. He needs to recover but his decision. Well see
I’m telling y’all this, Nick Chubb is just built different. If anyone can comeback from that, it’s Nick. Damn Good Dawg!!!
I doubt this time. So much scar tissue from the first one now he tor everything again plus im hearing nerve and vascular damage. He will be lucky to walk without a cane for the rest of his life
Once I heard the gasp from the crowd I knew it had to be bad
Prayers up for Chubb man the game is better with it’s best players playing 🙏
no doubt
He's a limping disabled ♿ mess now. He gone...
He'll b3 selling drugs outta the ol hood spot now. He already blew his money and is in debt up to his 👀
Like last year, I would have rather lost to Cincinnati than lose TJ for 7 games. Even as a Steeler fan, I’d have rather lost to Cleveland than have Chubb get hurt like that.
I'd rather be guaranteed the browns don't go above .500 for the next 5 years than lose chubb man. Dude was the only player everyone felt a REAL connection too.
I saw the replay once and I refuse to watch it again. I will never forget that image. Prayers up for Chubb love the dude.
This same injury happened to me playing rugby in college. Full ACL recon, all meniscus torn, PCL, MCL strains, 7 screws, took 6 months after surgery to be “normal” still have pain in it 10 years later. Still extremely active lifting running, boxing, jujitsu, hunting, hiking, etc. I think he’ll come back, modern surgery is incredible. They used part of my quad muscle for my repair so it’d allow me to completely active and full return to everything. He’ll get even better therapy than I did and has the money to spend on whatever he needs. If he wants to play again he’ll be able.
He ain't running no 4.3 in a 40 yd dash anymore. I'd bet you a new horse.
That boy is in debt up to his eyeballs in mansions, escalades, mommas new crib, sisters new crib, and renting luxury items for 50,000 a month. He basically had his knee separated from his thigh bone. Boy going straight back to bidens gov house in no time flat.
@@jimmystrickland1034 probably not but he’s a power runner anyway. He’s looking for the hits. He’ll still be explosive and fast.

@@jimmystrickland1034 giving up is for weak men. Not mentally strong people. No excuses no crying.
Not a Browns fan but for the last 5 years I've told everyone and their mother that Chubb is far and away the best ball carrier I've ever seen.
He was on one Monday night, if he didn’t get hurt he was in for a monster game. You could see how hard he was hitting the holes. He wanted to ball tf out on MNF
The field mics picked up his yells of agony in real time. Godspeed Chubb
I hope he can play again. He didn’t deserve to have his career end like this. He works to hard for his position and it can’t end like this. Prayers for Nick and for a speedy recovery

Hopefully he can come back. Dudes been a stud for years
Nobody talking about how dirty of a hit that was by Minka Fitzpatrick
Went right for the legs…
Just the fact Chubb isn't on the ground screaming and rolling around in pain. Just shows how much of a DAWG he really is. Hope he comes back better then ever
Sincerely a Bengals fan!
He’s a Dawg For real. You ever see him squat or clean? Absolutely, one of the strongest players in the league. He’ll bounce back. He’s wired differently
That injury is god awful he screamed and rolled on the ground he cried too knee injuries are extremely painful man don't make him less a man.

Chubb is such a professional, too. Never celebrates and does his job as good as any. Reminds me of Barry Sanders. Stinks to lose a guy like that.

Prayers to Nick Chubb. I hate the Browns, with a passion… but Nick Chubb has been one of my favorite non Steelers for a long time. I shed real tears mid game during that injury for him, and also when Minkah wasn’t moving. It brought back major Shazier vibes in that moment. I wish you a speedy recovery and hopefully a full return to football. DeShaun Watson should give part of his contract to Chubb because Chubb is the offense. He’s been carrying the Browns since he entered the league. I can’t even really enjoy this win after seeing that.
🙏 Prayers to Nick Chubb 🙏
As a Browns fan . Much respect for those words for our dawg #24 Nick Chubb , best pure RB in the league . It was heartbreaking 💔 to watch , made the game depressing after that , we were winning but felt like we had already lost .
@@hadesunderworld4203 i agree completely, he is without a doubt the #1 RB in the league in my eyes. That man is insanely talented and that broke my heart to see! I waited 2 days to even go and watch the actual injury because it was so heartbreaking and i honestly wish i never saw it. He’s a DAWG 100% and will come back even stronger, i pray for him to make a full recovery. He’s a crazy hard worker, very classy and full of respect and is the heart and soul of that team. He is to that offense like Shazier was to our defense. I know rivalry and all that, but honestly none of that matters when something like that happens. The Browns fought their heart out and i may not be the biggest DeShaun Watson fan but he was hurting big time for his brother in Chubb. Seeing his face while Chubb was grabbing his leg, gave me so much more respect for that man. Btw i always thought the allegations were BS. But i understand him being scrappy after that. Him pushing the ref was classic, reminds me of Ben nailing one in the face with a ball. But that team was fighting for their brother. I’m rambling, I apologize for that. My heart bleeds for that man and i just hope he has a full recovery and comes back stronger than ever 💪
As Browns fan. I wanna say thank you to the Steelers fans last night. The reapect and class you showed to Chubb was deeply appreciated. NGL the fear and sadness in my heart that I may never see Chubb run the ball again is sickening
Chubb is literally one of the best guys. So sad to see this, hope he heals all right.
I am with you, man. I hope he makes a full recovery, but the thought of him possibly never playing again is haunting. Especially since I missed the chance to go watch him and the browns play in person a few years ago when they came to SoFi stadium to play the chargers.
Honestly the injury itself is sickening just from a pain standpoint. Hearing him yell out just before cutting to commercial, that is one of those types of injuries where the pain is excruciating beyond belief, no adrenaline can help.. it’s ongoing brutal up until he gets an anesthetic
You're thanking fans who don't know you for them being respectful to a guy who doesnt know you because he got injured. Think about your comment and how cringe it is next time.
screw that he was target by dirty steelers
Nick Chubb is one of the most selfless players in the league. 😢
No matter what Chubb is a Hall of Fame player, no doubt.
I mean he played 6 seasons, granted he put up hof numbers. Just don’t know if 6 seasons is enough. He’ll come back tho, have faith
It won't be unfortunately not enough time or enough accolades, he was on a HOF path though such a shame
No
I’m just saying, there aren’t very many backs In the last 20 years I’d rather have on my team then Nick, and I’m a Steelers fan.
Me and my dad were literally just talking about how good he was before the game. Insane I hope he can come back from this he’s so fun to watch but also just for his health even if he never plays I hope he can walk normally without pain again.
The last 6 years watching Chubb has been fantastic!! Seeing him go down like this is just horrible my favorite player in the nfl!! Man this is tough. Praying for a healthy recovery cause the game ain’t the same without him
I could only watch the replay once. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 speedy recovery to a great one
UGA fan here, Chubb will always be a DGD for both us and the Browns. I wouldn't count Chubb out, watching his workout and recovery in college he is going to do everything to get physically back.
People getting mad at minkah and calling him a dirty player but forgetting Myles Garrett taking a helmet off a player then proceeding to hit him in the head with it gets forgotten
Browns fans for decades have crowed about turkey jones pile driving terry bradshaw. Zero sympathy for them. Hope Chubb makes a full recovery and sooner than later.
Definitely a dirty hit. There was absolutely no reason to do it unless you were trying to take a guy out.
No one is talking about the dirty hit he received was. Minkah clearly dove right for Chubb’s knee.

I’m as close as I’ve ever been to never watching NFL Football ever again. Waited 22 years for Cleveland to show up through countless bloopers, miscues, meltdowns and tragedies, and now this.
I can agree with you I’ve seen it all been through all of it as well it’s just so painful having hope thinking this year is the year we finally get it together and then Chubb gets taken out by a cheap ass dive a part of me feels that the game was paid off by the terrible officiating they were always calling plays against the Browns but never the home team so biased and plain as day
Never had an athletes injury make me feel so sad. Feel sick
Dam man am I going crazy or does it feel like there’s a ton of injuries already in these first two weeks?

The conversation needs to be had, did Pat curse this NFL season? I don’t think he hears from the football Gods accurately. 😂
I’m a Browns fan, Chubb is my favorite player and the heart of the team. I really hope he can come back at some point.
Chubb is my fav player period in the nfl rn. Just a good dude off the field and a monster on the field. This just STINKS
one of the worst injuries in the history of the sport to one of its best players to ever touch that ball. i hope we see him play again. ive been such a big fan of Chubb in an era where rb's get absolutely dissed for what they are and i tell you what Chubb is one of the best ever.
Not the first time he’s had a knee injury that could be “career ending”. He’s an absolute dawg, he’ll be back.
Retire man. While you can still walk
7:06 the thing is Chubb wasn’t coming at Fitzpatrick with a head of steam. Chubb was already on his way down getting tackled when Minkah speared into his knee that was stuck in the ground
I remember specifically the college injury (Tennessee game, I was watching live). No comparing the two. On top of that, he was 20 at the time of his first injury- he's 28 now. The unknowns being the potential vascular and nerve damage incurred (along with the almost given ACL, MCL and PLC along with knee cap dislocation)- it all spells a pessimistic scenario. Not being down on Chubb or his will, (I live in NE Ohio and 35 year Browns fan), just a realist. Focus now should be on regaining use and mobility for his post-football life.
Prayers for Chubb. Nothing is impossible with God.
As a lifetime Clowns Fan, this was devastating. Prayers for Nick.
Yep. We now have at least 4 more years of misery and doom.
@@8thaccount535This season will be dedicated to Chubb now along with Brown so we guaranteed a SB now 😅
He will be remembered as One of the best
I have faith he'll be back but in what degree of a capacity. The human body is very resilient. The mind varies in each and every individual. I don't know him as a person, nor do I know how much this kind of an injury does to one's psyche but from what I've heard, Nick Chubb is a good person and he has an insane work ethic. It will take a very mentally strong person to recover from this. I wish him all the best. God bless. ❤️ 🕊
I hate seeing this happen to anyone but a guy that is one of the best in the league and a good guy......Stab to the gut....

All the prayers for this man.. people dont realize you could hear his leg snap in the live coverage of the game. Its not even about football anymore.. I just pray for peace of mind and the quality of life is decent after this.
Same knee that snapped at Georgia v Tennessee back in like 15-16. Crazy it was exactly the same injury to the same knee 😢
Chubb… just wish he would have went to a functional franchise… he deserves the best.
He was the best back for the last several years and consistent.
my dude came back and squatted 350lbs and became the best RB in the league by quietly doing work. He will be back. Just hope he has a plan to play for set number of years and then going off into the sunset so he doesnt go through this again. That injury would make anybody quit football. But Chubb came back. Guarantee he will come back again. Unfinished business!
I was only able to catch the start of the 2nd half of this game after work, but saw the replay the next morning, it was so bad..praying Nick Chubb has a speedy recovery and goes back out there to pound the rock 💪🏈
Awesome! Get him Aught…. Of there 😂😂😂
Pacman couldn't have made the transition to ESPN. That being said, DBut is the man and I hope they never let him leave.
Love Chubb and wish him all the best. That being said, the Browns can suck it and deserve every bit of this misery. Sorry and sad organization.
Found the Baker fan.
This reminds me a lot of what happened to Napoleon McCallum. His knee injury was so bad it nearly killed him due to a perforated artery. It still took a lot of work to just save his leg.
Sadly, this is part of why RB's don't get paid like other players. They just don't last as long due to the wear and tear....not to mention the higher chance of something like this happening.
Cheap hit and cheap play by the defender, all those other positions are protected from hits like that
@@okgotit4103 Fitzpatrick has given several cheap shots over his career - piece of trash IMHO - he did it on purpose to hurt Chubb - engage high and he dove right on the knee
And people wonder why Jonathan Taylor wants so much money.... maybe it's because all it takes is one play to take you off the field forever
And people wonder why owners don't want to pay it.
And people wonder why GMs and owners dont want to pay RBs so much money. One play and you arent on the field forever...
Chubb has respect from most every football fan he is a legit stud coming from a cowboys fan
The Pittsburgh player went intentionally, right for his knee. Typical Steeler play.
The worst thing in all sports is a really great players career cut short by injury. I watched Derek rose, grant hill, Steve young and now nick Chubb

Coming from a browns fan I never liked Minka but that's because he has been so good since becoming a steeler and that hit was not dirty it was just a bad timing hit and it really sucks for chubb to go through this again
Crazy how they showed Hamlin dying multiple times… but that’s where they draw the line 🤣

These are just your notable guys, and I didn't include Kamara cause that's not an injury. The point is, as much as running backs wanna claim NFL ownership has their values wrong, this is the reality. The nature of the running back position is to take a beating, and that means they're naturally going to get injured more, to a point where it's not worth a team committing to them with big contracts.
Sorry bout it.
Minkah obviously didn’t want to injure him like that, but he definitely did that on purpose
With intent would imply a “dirty” player... which he is. Him going to the hospital is him hiding from his obvious guilt.

That’s DEFINITELY career-ending. Even if they can repair his knee, he’s a running back. There’s no way his knee is ever going to be robust enough to play.
