Pocket Canyon Crew killing it out there! None of this would be possible without them

when you are walking backward with the mill down the revs, why? Say the blade catches the log if it moves in then climb cuts or runs away over you or some similar, I've used Lucas and seen this happen a few rare times and was able to push revs down quickly and was lucky. Just my two cents

I either move the blade clear of the cut by moving further to the left if i have to double cut for horizontal cuts over 4 inches, or throttle down like you said if unable to move clear because of what you said. I have seen it bite in while returning for my second cut and try to run my down and was saved by pushing forward and throttling down.

Getting those beams off and moved to the drying rack was another struggle entirely!

Impressive size of log to mill. unnecessarily risky to walk the saw back at full throttle through the cut, with the blade at foot-sole level and having to duck under the bars. If the blade caught he'd be in for a bad time. Stopping the blade takes 10 seconds and saves untold heartache.
