I really want to like this amp but, like many amps and guitars I see a bunch of endorsements from named artists. I have yet to see one of these in their live rig on stage being played. I would love to see and hear a few of the guys who did the endorsement out playing these. My hope was to see D Trucks play it on the final ABB tour but everything I am reading says he and Warren were using the Dallas models.
I have quite a few nice amps including a 1985 Boogie Mark III No stripe. Its one of the 1st Mark III's to come out.Still has the original speakers and I have had the R2 channel mod installed to make it a true three channel amp. Its one that I love the tone and sound but at 30+ years I am wanting to get an amp that is able to get the old Allman brothers type tones and bit have ti take my Boogie out as much. I am after tones in the realm of Duane, Santana, Warren, Hendrix and other players in that range.
I am here in Tulsa and there is not one music store that has one of these so I could go listen and take my Les Paul in and play through it. Do any of you have some clips on youtube with some of the guys playing it live that are good recording.... I am very interested in this big time but, I am not putting up that much money and not be able to really tell its tone before hand.
    Thanks !

What do you think of the HX/DA compared to that Mesa/Boogie Electra Dyne you have there?
