Nowhere are woods being plowed under and nobody is building subdivisions on plowed under trees. Trees get cut down not plowed under. Stumps get dug out and burned not built-upon.
@mwilliamshs No s*** Sherlock! That's just a common phrase to refer to land clearing. As a heavy equipment operator, I am quite familiar with the process. Truth of the matter here, most of the time, the trees do not get cut down but rather are literally ripped out with an excavator. Unless there is a large stand of pines, it is not cost-effective to truck them to the nearest Mills. They will then be ground and / or burned on site. The point is that the population growth in Florida is staggering and every large piece of woods is being developed into subdivisions and even the overgrown single lots in neighborhoods are being cleared for new houses diminishing the amount of wooded area available for hunting.
@floridagunrat1625 so we agree that plowed under wasn't accurate, logging infrastructure issues like long distances between mills and low market prices for certain species notwithstanding. Your point about urban sprawl is a fair one but rather obscure or at least obscured by its delivery through mixed, misstated metaphors.
If you do more hunting videos with 22s you would get a lot more views. There is not many videos up at all of people hunting with 22s. That is how I found your channel. Make more of those because people don’t see that every day where you can see a bucket shot with a 3030 on 1000 different videos.
Firearms aren't generally licensed in the US. Some states require a carry permit for handguns, some don't. Ones that come to mind are Alaska, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The sales are restricted to people who can pass the background checks, but they aren't supposed to keep records of who actually buys. I could go and buy a shotgun today and nobody would think anything of it.
I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. Thanks.
Great job guys. I like how clean your video is. No bad language. 🙏
your Jeebus will smile up you (gross)
A lot of squirrels in that area, here in PA they seem to be sparse..Good eating!.
It's been a few years since I went squirrel hunting. In my area, a lot of the woods that I used to hunt are being plowed under for subdivisions.
