Could you give us some guidelines how to start constructing our range and then balancing it. Maybe do some example so we can know at least from where to start. Thank you!
Old school action with the greats. Players getting wasted and still doing well . Stu Ungar , Scotty Nguyen some characters. mike the mouth talking shit , other players talking shit, phil hellmuth is great at that as well, funny to watch especially that time he got beat with a pure fish Q9 or some shit vs his AK and knocked out the WSOP. The win with A10 all in pre flop to win the event also. some classic poker moments
i actually really like the flop 3bet with doyle's image because he's repping the set, so in spots where his opponent has a weaker draw, he can get them to pile in a lot more money if they both hit, but if he just calls, i don't think he gets stacks in since what else can he have that b/cs the flop and then goes nuts when the flush hits. i think lex usually plays his range as a call on the flop for reasons you mentioned. and he will probably check back turns with KQ type hands, which would allow doyle to realize his equity and lose the same amount of money as calling on the turn would.
strategy question, do you wanna sometimes 4-bet ship the 55 one the flop if so, what hands do you balance it with Jc10c 10c9c? esp if you know they are gonna play their flush draw horribly...on the other hand isn't it better to balance it with 8X, but why would you raised that in the first place...
If you're looking for more content to release Doug, you can never have enough hands featuring Tony G. Real talk tho, maybe more hands where speechplay is a central theme, and you can discuss how this affects players during the hand. I like this kind of thing as it translates to live poker a lot better than being all GTO and shit.
How about more stuff on "mental game"? How you avoid tilt, achieve consistency, etc drawing on your personal journey from zero to hero. Also want to hear more about how you battled back from losing 99% of your bankroll. I sometimes find that my greatest adversary at the table is myself whereas you seem to have achieved omnipresent-superintergalactic oneness. Love the channel m8
Doug let me ask u a question, after the flop, if u were in doyles shoes and u knew exactly what ur opponent had. , what would u do? Two shots at the nuts and a guy with a set probably aint going anywhere, id love to see one guy isolated in a room where he can see all hole cards, they could take turns. Most hands i lose r suckouts, even if i knew what the guy had id still play it the same way, anyway id love to see it, or u could put a rank amatuer in the iso room, it would be hallerious watching him still screw up, think about it
Doug Polk Poker ......love the vids, just sub'd. You need to do a "whats going on in poker" or a "behind the scenes/news in poker" thing where you kind of give an update to whats happening in the poker world, not just at the felt. Like that kickboxing match, the durr challenge bs, etc. You know, shit like that. Maybe even a "whatever happened to" vid. Like Jamie gold. Whatever did happen to that p.o.s? Keep up the vids and did anyone ever tell you, you look like Mark Hoppus?
Makes me wonder if the old guards of poker have bothered studying new strat and if it has affected their game with new tech in a Ai poker teaching playing field
Doyle made an amazing play... Only thing I am going to criticize him for is not jamming on the turn, your opponent is either going to go all in or fold in that situation and if you are going to be that committed you will be calling the 35k regardless, going all in at least puts your opponent in a position to at least consider folding.
[✔️] -The Big Game [✔️]-Raszi [✔️] -Tony G (last polker hands) [ ] -ReynoldsXO [ ] -Polker Hands ...I'm not big time enough for these similarities to be a troll right? 😂
Hey what's up Doug, me here. How a recurring where are they now section? In one of your vids you said you wondered what was Dario Minieri up to now and I was wondering the same. Just make sure you get the facts right and not say someone sold his house to keep playing poker. Love your channel man keep it going!
Maybe this something you do not want to tell, but how do you high stakes player that play live move all that money you win or loses? is it visa, cheques, cash like i seen one time on high stakes with Phil coming in with a shopping bag full of cash.
Hey Doug, big fan, completely unique and random thought here; You are a Twitch Streamer and so is Lex. You both stream poker. Lex is in this hand, which you analyse. Would you ever consider calling this series, 'Kicking Elky in the head hands' ?
You said QQ and 88 aren't in Doyle's range because they 3bet pre (talking about your flop commentary) but Doyle opened and Lex flatted so 3bet wasn't possible... or maybe I understood wrong?
I think its betterr to just call turn, and than jam river, or call jam on river... he is pot commited at that time, and he has to call 37k in pot of 220k even with ace high... and if dimond T or ace comes... he will call 100% of time...
Great Vid's Doug , however when you say it is unlikely Brunson could have a hand like QQ or 88 because he would be three betting most times, you are wrong. Brunson opened up the action and Lex just flatted there was never an opportunity for Brunson to 3 bet before the flop.
I think you may be referring to 5:48 and this is what Doug says: "Back over to Lex here, and now with bottom set I think he has a clear call. It's unlikely he can have a hand like queens or eights because those hands are probably three-betting preflop so this is one of his strongest hands."
Hey Doug, we are group of aspiring fishes at the University of Pennsylvania Poker club. We love your videos and are huge fans. Since you will be in town this weekend, is there any chance you could stop by our home game and play with us for a bit? (We play 1/2) It would be a huge honor.
From the description: "He especially enjoys reviewing hands by popular high stakes pros like (...) OtB_RedBaron." Are there any Poker Hands videos featuring Redbaron? I don't remember any.
I really like Doyle! Like really really! But here he made a bad play. Opponent did reraise and then called a three-bet. When the 8 came on a turn Doyle should have realised that opponent made a boat or even quads. Betting on a turn so big was the ultimate mistake
What's Up Guys Doug Polk There, and Today were going to be answering a question many of You have been asking, Today were going to try and put a Actual GTO Solver for everyone to take away, Just how many times Should I be Throwing My F'n Donger's Up per day, the correct answer is You need to be throwing Your F Dongers Up around 3.5 times Per day that's GTO start per day . . .Until next time ) luke is the fish, Stay tuned for more GTO strat till next time . . .-D1G1TALFOX

I cannot tell a lie: that kick to the head was so sick I had to watch it like four times.
i actually really like the flop 3bet with doyle's image because he's repping the set, so in spots where his opponent has a weaker draw, he can get them to pile in a lot more money if they both hit, but if he just calls, i don't think he gets stacks in since what else can he have that b/cs the flop and then goes nuts when the flush hits. i think lex usually plays his range as a call on the flop for reasons you mentioned. and he will probably check back turns with KQ type hands, which would allow doyle to realize his equity and lose the same amount of money as calling on the turn would.

"Doyle perfers to have his kicker problems on the felt." Lmao, oh man, Stapes is such an underrated commentary!
strategy question, do you wanna sometimes 4-bet ship the 55 one the flop if so, what hands do you balance it with Jc10c 10c9c? esp if you know they are gonna play their flush draw horribly...on the other hand isn't it better to balance it with 8X, but why would you raised that in the first place...
Thank you for not having stupid lead-in music and bad graphics. Refreshing.
Favorable flop for Lex. Wait, wrong poker video..

+Michael Piccillo Welcome to stop by the day I am actually playing (Friday?)
Did you consider calling these videos Polker hands?
Hey Polk, can you call it hands the SOug polk hands online?
+Swagwan wat
Makes me wonder if the old guards of poker have bothered studying new strat and if it has affected their game with new tech in a Ai poker teaching playing field
what year was this?
As always, great analysis. Thanks Doug!
1:45 that guy also enjoys watching your videos

How old is this hand? Pre Daniel hairplugs
2010ish
Excited to hear you'll be in Philly this weekend. Hope I get a chance to meet you! Love the content!
Is it just me or are the equity percentages incorrect in poker big game? They have 70%/30% on the flop, my calculator shows 73.5%/26.5%.
did you count the hands that folded?
did you take in count the others hands like big game did ?
nope, thanks!

hey i think it would be kinda neat if you called these segments "Polker Hands"
REVIEW YOUR VIEWERS HANDS VIA BOOM PLAYER. I personally think taht would be great. It would create a lot more interaction between you and viewers bro.
Maybe this something you do not want to tell, but how do you high stakes player that play live move all that money you win or loses? is it visa, cheques, cash like i seen one time on high stakes with Phil coming in with a shopping bag full of cash.

Even though the show is called POKER HAND, we've seen a lot of feet
You said QQ and 88 aren't in Doyle's range because they 3bet pre (talking about your flop commentary) but Doyle opened and Lex flatted so 3bet wasn't possible... or maybe I understood wrong?
Dude, they are clearly playing each other and not the hand. Doyle thinks Lex is bluffing, Lex encourages this by snap jamming.
he nailed this turn whats the analogy I can make and then shows the kick boxing cracking the hell up lol lol
Would love to watch you playing some free poker game with absolutely random hands and random people.
How about the reply from Relax Your Soul? He fired back and shows off his math skills.
6:52
That was a Laugh out loud moment.
Question. Why do you keep referring to Lex as Razi?
Raszi used to be his Pokerstars screen name.
the same reason people refer to bertrand grospellier as Elky
Both are their Starcraft online names, from before playing poker.
its his alias u fktard
All the best in Philly Dougster. Content is great, as always.
I think its betterr to just call turn, and than jam river, or call jam on river... he is pot commited at that time, and he has to call 37k in pot of 220k even with ace high... and if dimond T or ace comes... he will call 100% of time...
How do players know how much money is in the pot when they play live?
keep count or guess
Why does Doug close his eyes while he talks?
Because he's an idiot?
It’s the sign of genius
The lights. Happens a lot on TV poker shows too.
Respect Doug. Just like my late pa who said the day he couldn't work drunk would be the day he handed in his gun and his badge.
WSOP coming soon. Do some main event hands from day 3-4-5.
Great Vid's Doug , however when you say it is unlikely Brunson could have a hand like QQ or 88 because he would be three betting most times, you are wrong. Brunson opened up the action and Lex just flatted there was never an opportunity for Brunson to 3 bet before the flop.

snapjam misraise when bluffing. got it doug thanks!
Was that the end of Elky's fighting career?
Until your Doyle's videos I thought he was a nit , btw if you made the insta raise tip a week earlier i would not bust my last live mtt !
If Hellmuth would have done this you would call every move bad :D

I've never seen that hand before, I think Doyle played it bad! :(
Love this so this Lex Veldhuis hand, great pick Doug! Keep up the good work!
Doyle has some combos that call here beat, plus he figures he might get a Queen to fold here
Review a Timex hand!
