I definitely use an olight weapon mounted light if someone tries to break in and steal my olight collection.
I hit the range today with my o light mini for first time and it snapped off after 6 shots. Snapped it back on and same thing happened. Am I doing something wrong with installation?

Just ordered one for my XD-40 & Glock 17 that has an adjustable rail which slides the laser before clamping for different size guns. Not sure if yours has that or if that’s some upgrade but that’s the only Amazon has available to order now.

Which one is the easiest to attach to glock 19 gun and detach to gun. Since I will be leaving the light on overnight but detach when I use during day inside holster. My holster does not have space for light. So I need a light I can add and take off quick and easy. Thanks
Take a look at my channel I have a brand holster that makes the cutout for the olight charger.
Gotta say the Glock unboxing made me think about a 19. But I couldn’t think of a good enough reason to tell the ole ball n chain I needed it haha. But with the light and 32 round mag it does look nice and would scream home defense... definitely gonna run this through the wife.

I'm a retired federal cop here in Virginia Beach. The Glock 19 Gen 5 is by far the best firearm I've ever used. Hell, the Navy Seals have been using Glock for awhile now...my bud is a Seal. Most love it.

So for installation it’s pretty simple right? I can do it myself at home without having to use any screws. Just slide it on and lock it into place that’s it? Just ordered mine. PLEESE LET ME KNOW THANKS

Is the laser already aligned with the front sight or do you have to align it like the TLR8AG?
For me it kind of was but I didn’t know how accurate it was for distance so I adjusted at the range for the distance I wanted

Does it slide after it’s locked in place? Reason I ask is because I saw an olight review (it wasn’t the baldr mini) but even after it was locked in place it still moved. I didn’t like that
Haven’t had it slide on me. Pretty sturdy design.

I have no problems at all with my light. I wiggle whatsoever. Maybe they have the wrong piece for the rail. Glocks rail piece said GL than others say 1911
Thinking of getting night sights you say. For some reason that sounded very funny to me as you just put a light on the gun. I get it, but somehow it sounded funny when it was said.
More of something to help see the gun in the dark at night when trying to grab it lol. But that is funny.
My olight keeps popping off after the 3rd shot or so any suggestions?
May have the wrong adapter on the light for the rail. Also you can tighten that latch then latch it down.

How long would you say a charge lasts?
Sorry that’s a good point. Out of the box it’s 40 minutes on a full charge. So far from my use I charged it fully out of the box put it on and in like a week and a half I noticed the laser was getting slightly dim so I put it back on charge. But considering I used it a bit to show to friend and for the video. Also my cat enjoys the laser when I take it off the gun. 👍🏼
I’d say that’s about correct for constant run time 👍🏽

It was definitely not anywhere near that much when I bought one in the US a year or so ago. A fraction of that amount, but I did get in on a group buy promotion they had going on.

Ok.. it's been a few years.. how has the olight performed? Still like it?
Still holding up! Battery life hasn’t really changed either in my opinion. And I still like the setup. Check out my werkz holster video for this set up. Great holster and some cool little things on it a lot of other companies don’t have.

Thanks for getting back at me seems like a great laser light combo but that strobe hits different at night really blinds your target
My AR has a fore grip with a light and it strobes. Love it as well but figured I’d go without on the pistol because the sights are smaller and noticed when looking down the sights on my ar with the strobe it was harder.

How's the battery life
Been great so far. Went 2 months without a charge and noticed it may be dimming. I charge it now once a week.

I notice when I shot mine it became loose and it scratched my rails had to change the bar to 1913 size
What gun are you using? They come with the Glock rail installed from factory I believe.
I also shot mine about 100 rounds with the light on and had no problems.

Honestly as accurate as your can get it dialed in. Pretty pin point accurate.
i hate they made the .40’s so fat.. may be switching to 9 finally..
If you remove the stop in the bottom of the mag, I think you can now carry 17 rounds rather than 15.
Do these lights run hot?
I haven’t notice my light running hot. I’ll sometimes take it off and play with my cat with the laser for a while. Still never ran hot. Also never got got from a over night charge.
I was hoping for the setup as the title says. The laser needs to be adjusted it doesnt come out of the box aligned with the sights.
It gives you a tool, i don’t have a range in my backyard to sight it in lol
