Right on man thanks for the informative review as always. I’m gonna say you should definitely make a holster for the new BALDR-Mini. This is going to give steam light TRL-8G a run for their money. A major plus is that it is rechargeable as well. The integration with the laser and light is another plus.
I would like a follow up video when you get some time with it and I would like holster for this as much as we see olight I can see them sticking around for a while.

Why is the Olight named Baldr? Imma explain this one to you that I thought you’d have pieced together by now. You run an Olight Valkyrie right? A Valkyrie is basically an angel of death of in Víking/Norse Mythology. Baldr was Odins son who was killed by Loki, he was a god of light and joy. He was killed by a an arrow that was poisoned with Mistletoe. Save for the rolling R you actually said the name correctly so props for that! The Olight Odin should be self explanatory. It seems Olight WMLs are named after Norse Mythology. Which I think is really cool. Perun in Slavic mythology is the god of thunder, so it’s basically Thor.
All due respect. No intention of belittling the process. But, 4-6 measurements adjusted in cad and some HDPE ripped on the CNC. How many rough drafts does it typically take to get to the final working mold? Would you really have to change all that much to accommodate a slightly different size light body variant?
Not necessarily a ton of work, no - but the modeling, cnc'ing the molds, vacuum forming the shells, trimming the shells, assembling the holster, bending the holster, testing the holster in rigorous daily use as well as giving it some range time - for each iteration of the design until perfection. Once it's good, 3d printing the dummy forms for the manufacturing and assembly process, training any staff on the new variations, identification, etc. Getting the new light up on the site (photography, description, new skus), answering more questions that come in for new products, handling the influx of new orders, etc. It's a lot of little stuff (some very little, others a little more involved) that adds up - especially for a small shop already running at capacity, not necessarily even wanting to increase sales overall right now. Not to mention - the smart move of waiting for the light to see how well it performs for a bit before embracing that it's a light I can recommend for concealed carry / duty use. Making sure they don't release an immediate update to handle heat issues, charging, etc - which would either crush customer support of the device or cause needed changes to molds and holster returns, etc.
Yup picked it up and I have your CZ P10c with the pl mini1 holster so definitely if you made the holster to fit the baldr mini that be fantastic. I’ll pick it up real quick
Bought the Olight Baldr Mini during the recent sale. Waiting for a ship notice. A while back bought a Baldr Pro for my shotgun (Beretta 1301 Comp). Would like to know your thoughts on that, or possibly a video on performance mounted on a shotgun (home defense, etc.)
I had the Mini 2 on mine. It’s okay. I had the baldr pro as well. Pro was cooler but I had to send it back because the laser malfunctioned after shooting one clip
I bought this light and love it. Just fyi, the valkyrie mini and baldr mini mounts are interchangeable. Found that out while trying to find a holster for the baldr mini. I wish they would've fit the baldr into the form factor of the valkyrie... oh well I'll be putting my baldr pro onto an AR pistol, and replacing all my pistol lights with the baldr mini... i dont think the fit is as good as the streamlight tlr7 or 8, but the interchangeability, charging and adjustment of the mounts are fantastic
Are lasers more accurate than your sights? If your iron sights line up on the target but the laser is not will it be a miss? Same as if the laser is on the target but the iron sights are misaligned will the laser still be the point of impact?
Yep bought one and want a great holster with great retension. Bought a holster custom made from another company and for 120 bucks the gun falls out when tipped upside down. I have a Canik Tp9SF
Would like BALDR Mini as well as Pl-mini 2 for CZ P-10 C. I know a Glock 19 works pretty well but the magazine part of the holster is way bigger. I crank the magazine retention almost all the way down but would prefer a better fit from you.
i bought one but i use the shield 1.0 and its tough for us because it doesnt come with a stock rail. so i bought the aftermarket one so hopefully it'll look good.

Hmm, yeah probably a BALDR Mini holster could be made in a way to work with a PL-Mini 2, but not the other way around. I'd have to get in and take some measurements to see how good of a fit you might be able to manage fitting both.
I got one for when I get my ccl but I have a g3c not a glock or a s&w. If you guy would make one for the G3 or g3c, I would buy a holster since no one makes it for that light and it is hard to find a good holster for a g3c
