Hi agar-agar although it is tasteless when you add sugar there is a subtle fragrance. But feel free to add other flavours. Just that the jelly won’t look clear.
While agar agar sets faster and doesn't need to be chilled, I do prefer how the jello feels in your mouth. It's very pretty and easy to use sweet fruits like in this recipe.
