Ah, Mr. Deitch, one of my total favorites. I'm a guitar player, but hearing Adam is just amazing, that groove and skill. He's really a musician's drummer = if I had to (and could) pick somebody to support a song or do a jam with, it's him. GJ as always Mr. Deitch.
About 10 years ago I was at a small club in New York, really it was a basement called Smalls. There was a great group of guys jamming up there, and the guy next to me was really getting down. It was inspiring, incredible music being played for maybe 20 people. The band stopped for a short break and I got to talking to the guy next to me - it was Adam. He had his sticks in his back pocket, went and sat in with the band and played some very out there jazz with them, completely blending. He joined Scofields short lived band not long after that. My brush with greatness, he was a cool ass dude and for my money the best drummer in the world.
Cool Experience ! I would love to run into him someday . I totally agree he is one of the best drummers all around that I have had the Pleasure of listening to ! One of those type of musicians that can steal the show and be the focal point with out even trying, with just the grace of his style of playing . Such a natural talent

Like (Dr.) Sonny Emory, (Dr.) Adam Deitch propels immensely-talented fellow musicians to the Exosphere ☁️ of "cooking 🍳 on Stage where the band becomes one unified Funky 🎵 algorithm . 👏 👏 👏
