The app is just lacking compared to TD Ameritrade. The watchlist feature in this video should have be applied to the stocks I currently have in my portfolio as well. Also the inability to view different accounts as one is disappointing.
Many of the features and tools from the TD Ameritrade and thinkorswim apps are being migrated/incorporated into future updates. Thank you for your feedback. ^BW
To label this handful of order entry webforms a trading platform is such a gross overestimation on capability, it's shamefully unprofessional. At best, it is naive, well meaning I am sure but substantially lacking in functionality. Charles Schwab have gone to the effort to takeover TD Ameritrade, they should stick with Thinkorswim, one of the best trading platforms on the market. In reality, there will be fundamentally B A S I C investors who will want to use a small simple collection of webforms to put an order in for an ETF or a handful of stocks, no charts or technical analysis, something that's a bit more complex than calling a broker on their telephone but nothing else ... this application will be fine for that purpose. For those that want trade, day trade derivatives for an example, they will need a trading platform like Thinkorswim. That's a whole different activity. Charles Schwab should keep both systems, the trading platform and the web forms.
I see the video you are responding to is for Schwab. Have you been using thinkorswim by chance? You'll be able to continue using it when your account converts. If you like the thinkorswim web version, you can use that as well. ^CH

@@CharlesSchwabno it’s been long enough, everyone hates you. You just needed to keep the TDAmeritrade app. It’s disgusting how mad people are over this and it’s not fixed.
On the desktop/website version, from the positions page, how do I get my equities and options to be separated out into different sections? The default has my stock and options positions within the same section. It is VERY cluttered that way. I want one section that has the stocks and one section that has the options. How do I change I change the positions page to show them that way? Also, once I have them that way, can I sort the options positions by time until expiration? I could easily do this with TDA. I want to be able to keep the closest eye on those options expiring the soonest.

There are several techniques that platforms can adopt, and I specifically mention this platform, to influence traders' psychology and drive them to make incorrect decisions. Here are some examples: Closing the Platform at Critical Times: Closing or disabling the platform during periods of significant market volatility can prevent traders from executing trades at the right time, and this occurs frequently. Delaying Order Execution: Delaying the execution of agreed-upon orders can lead to trades being carried out at undesirable prices, affecting profits and losses. Manipulating Bid and Ask Prices: Displaying fake or altered prices may cause traders to perceive a false opportunity or risk, prompting them to make quick and unconsidered decisions.
