  • A little sneak peak of me recording at Westlake Studios in Beverly (where both "Off the Wall" and "Thriller" were originally recorded) for Quincy Jone's new documentary "QUINCY" which is now streaming on Netflix!! Here is an inside look of the creative process. I apologize for the video quality - it was recorded with an iPhone.

    ►About Jonathan:
Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett has recorded and/or toured with some of the greatest pop artists of our time, including Elton John, Janet Jackson, The Jacksons, Quincy Jones, Diana Ross, Cameo, Lionel Richie, George Michael, Kenny G, Doug Miller, Peter Cetera, Bill Meyers, and Cirque du Soleil, besides guest appearing at popular television shows like The Tonight Show, Good Morning America, Saturday Night Live, and The Arsenio Hall Show.
Among his biggest musical feats, none come close to his extensive work with the all-time greatest pop artists of the last 100 years: Michael Jackson and Madonna. VIDEO
Hollywood Bowl - QUINCY JONES & EMILY BEAR with Gloria Estefan Patti Austin Siedah Gerrit Nikki Yanofsky
    -----------------------------
    Quincy Jones
Part of inteview Bilboard with Quincy Jones about Emily Bear.at age 9.
    Is another Quincy album coming?
Quincy: Then there's Emily Bear; President Obama calls her "Baby Mozart." She's been writing for symphonies since she was 5 and also plays bossa nova and the blues. She sings "Celie's Blues" from "Color Purple," anything. When we first met her, her feet wouldn't even touch the floor. She just did a concert at Carnegie Hall with a choir and a symphony orchestra.
She’s the most delightful human being I’ve ever met in my life. And her music is the same way. I am at once astounded and inspired by the enormous talent that Emily embodies. With the ability to seamlessly move from Classical to Jazz and Be-bop, she shows as much musical prowess as pianists/composers twice her age, and I am thrilled to be working with her. She’s astounding, man … she’s astounding. She plays like she’s 40 years old. She is the complete 360-degree package, and there are no limits to the musical heights she can reach.”
    - Quincy Jones

Jonathan, I have a question for you, brother. Do you prefer recording to analog tape or recording digitally via Pro Tools or something similar? Do you find that one is better than the other at capturing your performance? I understand that recording to tape has become very expensive these days..but there are guys who absolutely refuse to record digitally. Digital is so much faster too..you don't need a tape guy or engineer cutting tape all day..you don't have to buy the actual physical tape...it has its up-sides. But is the convenience of digital worth the difference in sound (that is, if you dig tape over digital). Thanks man. You sound crisp and killer in this video (as always hehe). Peace from Canada.

✍️You & your followers shall be burnt in hell for your giant lie concerning the innocent king of pop & greatest humanitarian Michael Jackson! But let me tell you the truth & then check the link below! ✍️In the summer of 1993 Evan Chandler accused Michael Jackson of sexually abusing his 13-year-old-son, Jordan”Jordy” Chandler. But after many investigations ,the investigators knew and proved that Michael Jackson was innocent of the accusation and that Every awful~thing which was said about Michael was just a lie! ✍️{The Real Michael Jackson❤️}📝 Sadly, the media never spoke of the wonderful things Michael did. They tried to portray him as weird and strange, and too many people believed everything they said.
Michael was one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever meet.
He was a greatest humanitarian who had a very loving, humble, helping,
innocent,,Christ-like,child-like heart who loved and helped many children and many people over the world who were sick, disabled and needy!. In 1985 Michael Jackson wrote the hit song,”We are the world,” raising almost $70 million to help combat famine in Africa like Ethiopia and so~on. He held an art auction to raise $2million to provide assistance to needy families in South Africa. And the heal world foundation also received generous amounts. The AIDS(HIV) foundation also received $500,000 & “Families caring for families” was blessed with $5.5million.
And after the terrorist attack of september 11,he helped raise $15 million with a self organized benefit concert. Michael Jackson helped and gave millions of dollars(generously)to various programs for Africa,Thailand,India,Poland,
      Romania,
American Cancer Society, the AIDS project in Los Angeles,Child-help,Children’s institute, Dream-street kids,Dreams come true charity,
      Brotherhood crusade,
schools, scholarship fund,Negro college fund,Angel food,Camp Ronald McDonald, community youth sports&Arts foundation and many, many more known and unknown charities. He spent his life trying to make this world a better place. He spread joy through his music, donated over 400 million dollars to charity and did as many visits to children’s hospitals and orphanages as he did concerts. Apart from concerts, Michael Jackson also donated his personal time and money. Who can match that!? Not even Donald Trump can! Michael❤️ was one of the kindest, most caring people you could ever meet. In 1993, Michael Jackson said to Oprah that his skin condition is due to a skin disease or a skin disorder called vitiligo, not bleaching. He used makeup to even out the skin tone . Michael Jackson specifically stated he did not want a white person to play him on Tv. He was proud of his race. He said,” I am a black American, I am proud to be a black American, I am proud of my race, I am proud of who I am, but the skin disease or skin disorder made my skin color whiter.”
After he started becoming whiter, his nose looked a bit odd and the doctors advised him to reduce his nose width. Nose Jobs are very common in America, jews, specially like to do it.❤️✍️Michael Jockson’s songs like “black or white”, “human nature” can clearly answer the questions concerning his color, skin disorder, race ,& nature.
✍️It seems the racist media always likes to put down a successful black person.
✍️Michael Jackson- The greatest entertainer the world has ever seen.
      🤴The king of dance,
      the king of pop,
the greatest singer, composer, musician who has an angelic, beautiful, wonderful,
attractive voice(vocal), great actor, director artist, creative,❤️blessed with malti(many) talents.❤️Amazing grace! What an amazing God’s gift! God bless him,
      God bless the Jackson family,
      MJ community, moon walkers,
all children and people over the world.
      ❤️✍️He was really
      a beautiful(handsome)
      person both inside and outside.
❤️✍️If you type & search on google ”world’s best smile”=,then you will know that it is Michael Jackson’s smile.
      ❤️✍️ Michael Jackson(MJ) imitated,loved and believed ~in Jesus Christ. He had a very loving,humble,helping,
      innocent,Christ-like and child-like heart,
he loved & helped many sick, disabled, needy children and people over the world.
      No matter what people said about him or how many people took advantage of him he never stopped giving & spreading love !{L.O.V.E❤️}
❤️✍️ I only felt that everyone should know just how wonderful he is !
❤️ I love you Michael Jackson for simply being you !❤️✍️📝“ Good Art Never Dies!”,says Michael Jackson(MJ!❤️)
      ☀️💫🎤🕺🎼🎶🎵📝🎧
      ✍️29/8(August)/1958-
      -up to 25/6(June)/2009.📝
      ❤️✍️Amazing grace!
❤️ What an amazing God’s gift!
      ❤️ God bless Michael Jackson(MJ),
      ❤️God bless the Jackson family,
      ❤️MJ community, moon walkers,
❤️all children and people over the world📝. ✍️With lots of love❤️📝
