HI Neil - thank you so much for sharing your process. These videos are real eye-openers. I kept thinking "oh THAT's how he does it" and "NOW I can see it working".... Absolutely amazing!
Hi Denise. Thanks for the comment. This was an exercise I do regularly and was in direct reference to a picture shared with me. The location rather poignant as it was taken in Yeovil Somerset by a local blogger on the way to her first Covid vaccine. Happy new year x

This is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I would love to see the reference photo, to try to understand those line decisions you are making. 😊
Thanks. If I recall correct, the reference was supplied to me. It is a scene from Yeovil
Great work, thank you for sharing😊
thank you
Really enjoyed that, lovely style
Thank you. 👍
gorgeous! awesome!... I like it because it's real speed.
Thank you. 👍👍
Molto bravo!
So pretty! Which pen or ink do you use / recommend that is waterproof? 🌧️
Thank you. I use just basic fineliners. ‘Line makers’ from Derwent Art are good 👍
Hi Neil, really enjoyed watching that, what brand of pen is that, thank you
I use a fineliner pen sold from paperchase.
Nice work
thank you
Please recommend a pigment black ink. Thanks.
The pen used here is a standard fineliner 0.2. if i use more traditional inks I use the black by 'Lamy' in their safari pens.
Thanks 🙏
Very clever technique, but I’m not sure what benefit/s it offers over ‘conventional’ drawing where the pen is lifted.
It can serve as an effective technique to loosen the mark making process and to encourage quick observation 👍
@@NeilWhiteheadArtist thank you Neil 👍
