Imagine engineers from 1935-40 could see these old girls pull!!
the JD G is a good 👍 puller OMG
rthose G's can really get it done!
I'm guessing there's no farmalls in that area?? I love the old 2 cyl JDs but never seen a pull without red tractors
There isn’t but they don’t compete well unless it’s a 560 with a 6 cylinder
How did Austin pass away?
He was in an ATV accident 2 years ago.
gasser 70's taking over the old G's.
Days of the 1960’s county fair tractor pull. Like slow motion. Farmers always talking smack. Later.
IN late 194OS after WW2 tractors w more HP came 2 the seen and diesel tractors as well w more HP yes they did make V8 diesel engines w a turbo 2 OMG 9 11 2O22
Looks like brush pulling run what you brung and hope you brung enough, doesn't sound like rpm rules, actually doesn't look like many rules, brush pulling
Even though the title says "open", sounds like to me, they have a pace. Which is the only real rule that matters. Should they have rules for wheelie bars, kills, side shields, etc? Maybe and maybe they do. But when you're talking about RPM, nope. That's what the pace is for.
to much tire speed... drop 2 gears, let a little more pressure out the tires, set the weight better... seen same weight pulled 300+ with less rpm's and HP. i get the class but good lord lol might as well run it in road gear at that point... granted most them, G's probably are in road gear.
