      Jacob Racquer you guys are pathetic. What people in general lack is self-love not entrepreneurs lacking charisma. You have to pity talk everything to people so you don't hurt their ego feelings. Fuck that, since the day I learned to love myself I loved the people that told me the truth the most. I love people that tell me what others are too selfish to admit. If I'm not the right one for a girl, I would rather have her tell me straight up I'm not the right one than start being more quiet little by little till I get it. And guess what? I'm an entrepreneur. You don't waste your time being pity with people. Animals who can't put their emotions aside, that's why they don't progress in life.

    • @Whaatever1027
      @Whaatever1027 6 лет назад +6

      Jacob Racquer As I said the majority are such pity snowflakes. So I'm not surprised by your comment. We should make the purge real so we get rid of the weaker genes, making our species better again don't you think? I'm losing brain cells from how dumb people can be sometimes and then knowing they are gonna procreate spreading those weak genes even more... oh gosh its brutal. Thats why I like the medieval age more, you are weak you don't survive only the thug get to live. You have all this past amazing badass leaders like Alexander the great you are not gonna hear that shit again anymore cus we let the weak live.

    • @Whaatever1027
      @Whaatever1027 6 лет назад +1

      Jacob Racquer but go out of man made cities... Thats how nature is! And no ones hates nature for that. If you are weak you are fucked and guess what scientist know we Homo Sapiens are evolving way slower than other species now because we let the weak genes in. If a new predator comes to kill butterflies and you are green color and can camouflage you get to survive, if another one came out sort of brown color or whatever, well you can be seen you are fucked and die. But if they were to be pity like us and let them procreate as well guess what you might end up with part green, part brown genes so you are fucked thanks to the weak genes that are allowed to exist. More butterflies suffer the epidemic and possibly make the specie go extinct if enough time existed to spread the genes everywhere. I don't sound too crazy and arrogant now do I? I'm just following the laws of nature, let the weak die off and keep perfecting our specie.

    • @JCleeseVK
      @JCleeseVK 6 лет назад +110

      It is true, but the important thing is that it has nothing to do with convenience of replacing one or another. If you fiance want`s you to choose between your passion and her, then it really would not work anyway in the mid or long run. Actually, some people are simply not marriage material at all, unless they find someone who completely understands them or is the same with their own passions. I believe marriage can work if people see each other only few hours a day, or even week, but it is very hard to find a perfect pair where both pursue their passions but still having someone to come back at the end. Life is complex, just live it i guess.

      Yeah... it completely depends on the ultimatum. Some things make sense, some don't. You may be the one at fault.
      Sometimes people can be so stubborn that they don't see what they're actually doing, and need something as extreme as an ultimatum to wake up.
      I wish I had actually given my ex an ultimatum much earlier than I did. Ended up being too late for her to see what she was doing.

      This is a typical BULLSHIT rationalisation.
      if you love what you do its not work, this is point everyone misses. ed sheeran isnt thinking "oh shit another day in the studio making money, cant wait for my next vacation“. Warren Buffer, Richard Branson these guys could have retired years ago, they love what they do. Whereas for the normie masses, work is something bad you have to do because its not your true passion, and then you do that to get to the weekend ‘leisure’.
      It’s the pursuit, growth and self-actualisation of becoming entrepreneur challenging yourself is key, which is something the normie masses don’t understand as they see work as an inconvenience to get to the leisure. Entrepreneurs tend to be most highest growth mindset people etc.
      This comment is bullshit (I have average income, more to life etc) on standard income you basically repeating same average experiences, work, vacation, barbecue, same conversations with same average friends over and over etc. if you had true freedom, success, wouldn’t have same friends, or wife, picked from scarcity, just happened to be around, went to school not picking from abundance.
      Just go to ikea, pubs, coffee shops look at the masses, light gone behind eyes, walking zombies, going through the motions, no passion.
      As Henry David Thoreau said "most men lead quiet lives of desperation" and benjamin franklin "most men dead by 25 we just don't bury them until they are 75” - that is the definition of take it easy, more to life middle classes.
      Most of whom never went for dreams, have average lives and then to solve this cognitive dissonance when see successful people and say "more to life", "that's hollow" - It's cowardice disguised as virtue.
      When you go to watch a film based on a true story, or go to concert you're not watching 'normal' people. It's abnormal people that took on challenges, that were obsessed, fully self-actualising.
      It’s not a film based on a true story, about Dave Smith who got a job, came home watched TV married average wife, went on some vacations, had some beers with the guys, and then died".
      As a child building lego etc they are fully engaged, you don’t see kids seeing “how can i chill”.

It is easier(but not easy) to 'replace' a lover than it is to replace a dream you've worked hard for.

  • @theconformist2399

    Kevin speaks the truth.
    There is a delicate balance that's difficult to achieve. Lots of CEOs, for example, have trouble managing their personal (family) lives and their successful businesses. The latter takes a lot of time to manage. So does the former, but sacrifices have to be made. It's often family life that gets the short-end of it.
    Many people think that the lives of high-profile executives is such a glorious place to be, with infinite money and lots of free time to enjoy your life. It's not true in most cases. You'll have lots of money, but very little free time to enjoy your life. Of course, these same folks tend to enjoy their work lives, so it's as if they're living a miserable life, but nonetheless they have to cut back on we the rest of us would call "personal time."
    Reality is reality. The lives of CEOs and other high-ranking businesspeople/executives aren't as perfect as you'd think.

    It's finding someone who accepts you and your drive to succeed. If you succeed, they succeed. Then money and time become nothing but a thing. There will always be struggles, ups and downs. True people will stand with you at your lowest and knew you could the whole time at your highest.

    Spot on! As I learned in USMC Basic SS class in 1991; This isn't for everyone. Your WHY better is larger than your why not. The light within better outline the light outside. And your support team better not only understand but also be just as committed to your success as you are. If not, you-will-fail!

    Honestly, its not for me. I love having specialized talents that help companies, but I also love the world around me and like to take moments to enjoy it. Glad there are lots of entrepreneurs out there to help out, but life is more than my grand vision of what it should be.

    A 91 year old woman once told me that you can be 60 years old and still make a dollar, but you can never go back in time and be with the person that you were meant to be with for the rest of your life. Live life and have fun with your significant other is priceless. Both sides have to make sacrifices for each other. Follow your heart. Making money is important, but you are only young once.

    I hate it when my friends go on rants about how we're being "exploited" by "greedy billionaire pigs who sit on their yachts all day getting drunk on our work."
    It really shows an ignorance so pure and untainted by actual knowledge. These people are obsessed with working, and if you ever had a CEO who sat on their yacht all day getting drunk, they wouldn't be CEO by the end of the month.

    Guys, to put this in persprective, he is saying that sometimes you have to choose between a successfull career and a deep, loving relationship because both will take a lot of time and you sometimes wont be able to manage both. He isn‘t saying throw away your relationship like its worth nothing. And he also did not say this kind of choice is the right one for everybody because not everybody will be happy with their career being the main focus of their lives. Don‘t get fooled by all the „die-hard-entreperneurs“ in the comment section 😊

    'Successful' people love to preach about the endpoint, but never the start point. Usually because most of their success has to do with their parents. A fact that has been cemented in modern Psychology.
    Fact is, if you let someone else define what success means for you. Your probably aren't charismatic enough to be making waves in whatever your career of choice is anyway.

    1- sad how Kevin says women multiple times or else he might seem a sexist.
    2- men make sacrifices women won't make making man superior in leadership and in the workspace.
