I actually expect cpi to be hotter than expected
But i don't how stock market and gold will be affected.
Stock market need lower than expected cooler cpi data so fed will cut rates.
On the other hand gold geopolitical events are not expected to end.
While stock market will go down if cpi will came hotter than expected. Due to this investors might invest more in safe assets rather than stocks

I don't really see a reason to place a stop loss in a bullish price action like this, instead of a stop loss, i would rather place another limit buy order exactly at your stoploss level, because 0.618 is usually an even better area for longs. I would just have two positions, wait for them to cancel out each other in break-even and then decide what to do next or just wait for price to get back to 0.5 and keep the 0.618 entry for the swing trade.
What about the silver postion from a while back?

True! But - right now there is some USD weakness as investors determine just how wide the gap between the two central banks cutting is. Recently, the rate cut probabilities for the US have increased this year - making the dollar look stronger as things reprice.
