one of the biggest fundemenyals that you missed is speculation. Investors might sometimes speculate the value of a currency going up. And then they will buy buy buy. and even if their speculation was wrong, if a lot of investors act upon the speculation, it actually will bring the value of the currency up
I have been trading forex for 7 years & thanks to you , for the first time. I understand foundationals & how use it to do my trades. Great job champ 😎👍
@@anemicbeats Yes, but since my account size up until around 1.5 years ago wasn’t much, my profits weren’t either.. most people forget that being profitable doesn’t mean it will sustain your lifestyle. Making $50 a month is technically “profitable”. The beautiful thing is prop firms are now more easily accessible and really shorten the process for skilled traders. My trading didn’t essentially change anything in my life until I joined a prop firm. I’ve made twice as much in the last year and a half than I did in the prior 4. This definitely made some things clearer, but do can you please do a video showing what exactly you look at in the economic calendar (ie Forexfactory, MyFXbook etc) and how you place a trade using fundamental analysis?
All of the economic data I discussed in this video can be found in Forex factory, and placing a trade using fundamentals for me means going through these segments I mentioned in the video and coming to a conclusion. There isn’t really an exact method every time. It’s about reading into what market sentiment and trends are telling us, and finding opportunities as they come. Hope that helps
@@TraderNick ...Hi, thanks for the reply. What I meant was would you be able to record yourself looking at the news releases and then placing the trades based off that AND the technical analysis that you've done. I am asking because even with info like this, it's a little confusing for newbies like myself to know exactly what we're looking at in the calendar, and if we're analysing the news releases correctly. As I am sure you know, there's a ton of videos out there on how to analyse the charts/candlestick patterns/ individual candles correctly, but I haven't found any videos thus far on how to look at the calendar correctly. It might seem odd, but I hope you understand.
Hey Nick, this video really help to understand fundamental. I request you to make a video like reading news of A1 trading company that how it affect to the market movement.
imo a trader should definitely take atleast a basic course in foundamentals, to understand the economy and the market impacting news, but not trade off of it. It matters more for investors. But ofc this is subjective because someone like urself is succesful with the use of fundamentals. I like the "fundamentals pick directions, TA for entries/exits".
Now I get what fundamental analysis is all about. I'll be glad if you can show us your source of information though. I use forex factory, but it's not that elaborate. Please advise!
learned a lot things are not completed to know so please help up with more videos related to the concept of the policies and inflation rate, still confused in how the inflation is helping the strengthening or bullish to currencies ,
do you have or can you make a video on where to find and keep up with these resources? aside from news breaking events like USA boycotting Russia's oil or fed talks it all seems very random.
There is two ways to look at interest rates. Firstly increase the interest rate on the foreign prospective is gud for that country's currency since they will be more foreign people interested in investing in that country, but on the other hand increasing the interest rates will affect GDP which is my second argument, since high interest rates means that domestic businesses will find it hard to invest in new projects and personal consumption of durable goods will also decrease, leading to unemployment in the economy, so in conclusion an increase in interest rates is only good for the foreign investment and individual in that economy who want to benefit from an increase of interest rate by also investing into bonds, fixed deposits in commercial banks but this comes at the expense of slowing the economy.
so hat are u looking for exactly to confirm or give u a buy or sell bias on a certain currency cos as u said an increase in interest rates has its positive nd negative side.
You didn't mention Season and weather can affect currencies, e.g demand for more energy during summer, for AC and winter in some countries for heating, also tourism season demand for the currencies when tourism is high
Can I understand something how would the bank increase interest rates at a higher inflation rate, don't they need to cut the interest rates to be able to lend more money due to the increase in inflation
Very good explanation, but can you make another video showing the actual data chart where we could pick those info in the trading platform and how we can integrate it in our trading strategy?
Great Video! I like the straight on format. But I have one question, what would be your answer regarding the Efficiency market hypothesis, which says at its basic form that every available information is priced in the current stock price and therefore information from the past can not resemble future benefits. In your opinion, why should technical analysis be a good choice regardless of the EMH? I am looking for an answer and hope you could help me. Tanks and keep on doing this great work!
Technical analysis is not an independent method of gauging the price action. It is merely a reflection of the fundamentals in practice over a period of time. It would provide a rough estimate as to how and by how much do certain established fundamentals normally affect the market. Nothing more nothing less.
High broo. It is quite good, but i aint sure thats the case all the time with GDP. Unfortunatly sometimes there are many foregin company in a country wich use EUR or USD for thier transactions. In a case like that, its not increasing the demand in country currency no matter GDP is skyrocketing. It will increase the demand of USD and EUR wich shows a groth in those currency by an other country GDP. But this is very good
It is important to note that inflation can affect internet rates as well...some other people may ask how come inflation does that is because nominal interest rates quoted by commercial banks are made up by the actual internet rate and the expected inflation so an increase in inflation means that interest rates will also increase. In the short-run. I may be bold and say that foreigners they don't care about another country's health they're only interested in making a profit from the economy situation of tht country. The reason I'm saying this is because increased inflation will affect tht Country net exports a situation where imports will be greater than exports because domestic goods are now expensive but foreign goods which compete with those domestic goods are now more affordable.
so i made it my business to research and do the leg work to fundamentals and I am having a problem with organization when it comes to how i go about research or the how to portion. Maybe if i can speak to you so i can tell you what i mean. is that possible because ive been researching this stuff for a year and i have not got over the ( Fundemental Process step its not clear and very subjective )
