This is the most beautiful story I've ever heard in my entire life. Get your tissues out. If I could meet any human being on Earth, Pastor John Piper would be my choice.

When he asked "young man, you ever lost a son?"... I thought he was talking to me and that really made me reflect. This video is a blessing. Thanks.

This powerful poem reminds us that Christmas can be a tough time for many. But we have a glorious hope in the resurrected Christ. Thank you, Pastor Piper, for this wonderful Christmas poem!

This story so believable and heart touching has caused me to pray...Father, forgive me that I have never even considered what the cost was for the Innkeeper and his family for having provided a 'place' for Your Son to be born..I know that as one who has given Your Son a place in my heart for Him to live and a place for Your Holy Spirit to reside I would accept what ever cost You require, I believe Father that Jesus very likely did return to that Inn and make that Promise to Jacob and that You fulfilled it

That moment, and this story struck me. My wife is pregnant with our first, a son. The terror in my mind grew as to what it would be like to lose your child this way. Our Father did, and I now know a little bit of the anguish it must have been.

Not condemning because people just flat out haven’t researched. But, if you celebrate Christmas/Easter you are celebrating and participating(unknowingly) in evil pagan celebration practices to gods.

I know John feels as if he's lost his son, many of his so called brethren have betrayed him, saying he's not fit for pastoral roles because his son's an unbeliever..
but that's utter nonsense, once his son left his house, the authority over him was gone ..
we are to keep our houses in order but where does it say if one of our kids is an unbeliever it's out fault??

Melodramatic and boring. Piper reads as if the words are profound but they're empty and pretentious.
