  • Beware, all shadows hark, as we tiptoe through the shadowdark…
Join Jay as he discusses his upcoming Shadowdark adventure using the new SoloDark modifications for solo rpg play. The adventure is set in the homebrew world of Sunder, a land devastated in a cataclysm that wiped out the ruling apex civilisation and stripped magic from the world . Magic is slowly returning to Sunder, but divine magic is no longer accessible, as it seems that the gods were destroyed in ‘The Sundering’.

Shadowdark is awesome! And i love the use of legos here.

Looking good. Like the (Dragon-Lance-esc) take on the world without priests. Curious, will spell casters have access to priest spells (via a different route)? (Sorry if you said that already and I missed it.)

Thanks! Love the question, and no I didn't cover it in the video. Let's just say that the question of divine magic and priest spells is likely to be a key plot point in the game!

I'm interested in a video series without background music 😮

@@rooqong1167 Thanks for sharing! What is it about the background music in RPG series that you don’t like? I have been experimenting with some music during higher intensity moments and music throughout the whole video. Great to have your feedback!

@@Homemade_Heroes I think your idea is very interesting and I'm looking forward to your playthough, but I agree with roonqong1167 about the music. You have a soft voice, and the music overpowered you. Also, the tone of the music (adventurous and tense) didn't match with your low key demeanor and rules discussion. It would have been easier to watch your video (and understand your words) without the distracting music.

@@whitebardic thanks for the feedback! Looking to find a solution for my quiet mic, but maybe I just have to project more. Good news, in this week’s episode I have almost no music! Drops on Thursday
