I was biased about how good this was going to be due to the quality of the video, but I'm glad to say I totally had it wrong! You're explanations are actually quite helpful and the end result is fab! Great work!
i personally feel having the hair wrapped around your toe, or attached to a hanger when going to back comb the dreadlocks is easier than stepping on the hair or having it say tucked between your legs and away from you and attempting to backcomb lol and starting in short strokes evenly around the hair versus trying to get it all backcombed in big strokes which results in losing length ,im also a beginner so thats just what ive learnt myself lol. but regardless you did an awesome job
So they have been holding up great I'm installed them 3 different times so far but I messed up cutting off the fly away hairs & now I constantly have to pull hairs out of the dread that pop out so don't do that step it was a huge mistake
Bingo! I have a wig..kinky straight that I want to create locs. It's still too straight and the wrap method doesn't work for me. They always unravel. Thanks@
You roughly need 60 or more dreads for your head so depending on the thickness they can take 15/30 mins per dread … so a while but you are also saving money compared to buying synthetic ones online for $100+
No don't use this technique on your real hair I would suggest the twist and rip or twist and pull method it's how I did my real dreads and it's really simple to do just look up videos on how to do it there's lots of them on here

Can you do this method with real hair? Like on your own dreads?
You can poke it with a needle but heat won't work and will heavily damage your hair
