Class 158 I love it. Been in the game just to think I am on it every day and it’s in the game. Just wish we could have the line from Glasgow Queen Street to Anniesland. That’s what we need. But the class 380 has been just great to be using so I would say just get both of them.
For me I would go for the 380 over the 158. The 380 is a wonderful new train to drive and adds so much variety to Cathchart Circle. The 158 essentially feels like a gameplay pack priced as a loco DLC. This sours my view on the train as an owner of Midland Mainline and does not add realistic services to Edinburgh to Glasgow without the diesel branch to Anniesland or Tweedbank represented in Scotrail Express. I won't be getting the 158 until it is discounted in a sale and until the Levan branch is added to Fife Circle. For the moment, I think it's better value for money to get the 158 by buying the Midland Mainline DLC. You not only get the 158 running on more realistic services but also you get the VP185 HST and a whole new route bundled in. It would only make sense to buy the Scotrail 158 if you don’t own Midland Mainline but do own Fife Circle or Scotrail Expres.
Haven’t got the ScR 158 but if there’s one criticism I have it’s that the cab is far too clean. The whole cab is basically one flat texture, it doesn’t look used at all. Also you forgot to mention the 380 has working ASDO
It's what it says. To add some variation, they were able to implement it since they had the recordings I think. So there's the clear aws but after long use, it gets worn out over time

Both the class 380 and class 158 are both better
£12.99 for essentially a reskin though compared to the 380 which brings a whole new model and two variants for the same price.
It’s not just a livery but the price is still not worth £13

Both are good in there own right i personally say the 380 is slightly better when the 158 comes onto fife Circle the 158 might take the crown.

How do you do free cam?
On console it's the right joystick to go external. To change to different angles: hold the right joystick and press the right button on the D-pad.
