Epica just keep getting better and better and there are no words to describe Simones vocals. If this is a taste of things to come, I cannot wait for their new album. Always loved the blend of symphonic music and rock. From my teenage years, I loved The Snow Goose by Camel and the live album from Caravan, Caravan and the New Symphonia, both from the early 70s. However, Epica have taken it to a new level.
Epica are an astonishing band Live but when they play with an orchestra as in this concert or in their retrospect shows they ascend to another plane entirely.
And now when i watch the reaction, Love the massive sound in this live performance. The grand sound grabs me so hard. When the drummer goes to half step (dont remember the right term) its like your weight less. What a song. # turkey day or whatever it was. All the Love to your daughter and your holiday. ❤️
I've been to one of the earlier Metallica S&M concerts in Berlin. Now in hindsight I really just see those as gimmick concerts. Epica is so much better
