It's time to move on, after listening to this whole album, I realized Adam does amazingly well at being a musician, and whatever choices he will make, I will support him, not as a fan of Three Days Grace, but as a fan of the genius behind this band, Adam Gontier.
People who are calling for Adam to re join the band, understand he left because he couldn't stand it anymore, the bands most recent full length "Transit of Venus" was disappointing and painful for Adam to release, he didn't feel the emotional connection with most of the songs claiming they were just wrote for the radio, losing this connection made him leave. Being a fan for as long as I have, I am still seeing them in 5 days it wont be the same and it never will, but like a true fan ill be there supporting the band I grew up with and love please, for the sake of Adam leave him to do his own stuff, its still great.
To everybody saying go back to 3DG, your better there Adam, but apparently you never had to TRULY deal with addiction and dealing with those you let down in the process of using this addiction to kill pain. This is a must for Adam, one step closer to a full recovery. Adam I fully support you, I'm no huge fan but I still think you make damn good music and do whatever it takes to keep yourself straight.

I don't know much about addiction but I do know about so called friends treating me like garbage when they should be supportive and about being taken advantage of used and abused so if drugs were just their excuse for doing that to him to hell with them. They probably would have done it anyway if he took pills or not. Regardless I think he had his reasons for leaving could have been personal issues other than just drug use.

If anything, I really enjoy the different sound. It shows just what types of things Adam is capable of artistically and it sounds soothing. Adam man, when I just about to start high school, my family decided to move to FL from LA. After that huge switch I started to listening to more rock and so happens 3DG just let out their first album with I Hate Everything About You. Instantly fell in love with you guys and followed 3DG. Listening to your solo music is by far your most amazing work. I love the new wave man. Gives me nostalgia.

Today I told my mom I want an electric guitar. She asked why because I never even used my acoustic and it'd just collect dust. I told her I want to learn to play better but the acoustic is big and clumsy feeling and that I do play when no one is home. She was shocked and asked what else I do she doesn't know. I told her I like to sing, so she asked me to sing for her like right then. I got awkward and dodged it cuz I'm not very good lol. But I hope I get the guitar. My friend helped me choose one ideal to my needs. Funny part is. When I asked him about it. He asked what kind of music I wanted to use it for. I wasn't sure, so he knowing me so well, was like "You'll probably want to do three days grace type music, so I'll look for something ideal for that." I was like shit he knows me well. That's exactly the style of what I want to play
Almost cried listening to this... He will be GREATLY missed from Three Days Grace but as long as he is still singing and enjoying his passion, it doesn't matter to me. We still get to enjoy the amazing voice he has.

I broke down crying too, especially because the day before, one of the guys who helped me change me life announced he was moving to Nebraska to help his brother (Who's wife had just died of cancer). I saw him 6 days later for the last time. Then adam left and I just broke down.
Going to miss Adam, Three Days Grace isn't Three Days Grace without him. I support his decision, music coming straight from his heart is what we deserve. But it was us that forced him to sing just for money, he couldn't take it so he left and for medical reasons. Keep the songs up Adam, you got a talent that can never fade!

The start of the songs are quiet, Adams voice cant take that, he needs to be louder than talking, then his voice steadies and sounds amazing! Just listen, when he gets louder he gets much more steady and enjoyable for my ears, :) who agrees?
That's what I was thinking when I found out he quit as front man for Three Days Grace, was "Is he at least going solo?" His voice is way too good to not share with everyone.

I'm upset that Adam Gontier left Three Days Grace. They're my favourite band, and when he left I was really sad. But I'm kind of glad that he launched his solo career. He's an absolutely brilliant singer with the best voice. I remember, I was looking for a new band to like and I saw a song by Apocalyptica called I Don't Care. I thought the singer was really good. And then I realised it was Adam Gontier. Amazing singer. Fantastic
That is true. But that dude got balls of steel. Remember: Three Days Grace asked him to help them out for this tour. And he won't stay afterwards. He already said that he would not leave My Darkest Days. And now he has to deal with Fanboys and girls in ragemode.
They havn't even started touring yet, he hasn't left in the middle of touring. It was just under 2 months before they were to start. It sucks for the fans but I mean you have to do what you need to do for yourself and move forward. If he wasn't happy, all the best to him on his new journey!
I freaking love this album. I wanted to buy tickets to the 3DG concert in February, then I heard that Adam left and I said forget it. 3DG will never be the same, and nobody can replace Adam.
Really sad Adam has left the band .. I've been listening to them for 4 years now - since I was 10 .. They changed me , my life. Adam's voice and TDG's songs were like an escape for me... He's amazing and I hope he continues to create music because he fucking rocks at it. Three Days Grace will never be the same without him ♥

i think for my opinion that adam gontier still rocks on his solo songs and on three days grace too. because i think that everybody has their own different voices and it sounds perfectly good on his solo songs. for everybody saying it sucks, well let me tell you something, "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one to tell about it" and some of those ain't true and right so yeah give up on hating on adam people.
This isn't released yet like I said it's bunch of covers and solo songs what we made through his carrier in TDG. Official release is planned in late 2013 by Adam.

The start of the songs are quiet, Adams voice cant take that, he needs to be louder than talking, then his voice steadies and sounds amazing! Just listen, when he gets louder he gets much more steady and enjoyable for my ears, :) who agrees?

That's what I was thinking when I found out he quit as front man for Three Days Grace, was "Is he at least going solo?" His voice is way too good to not share with everyone.
Adam still sounds amazing. The only thing different is there is not a full band of instruments. We love you Adam and we fully support you. ❤️

I'm upset that Adam Gontier left Three Days Grace. They're my favourite band, and when he left I was really sad. But I'm kind of glad that he launched his solo career. He's an absolutely brilliant singer with the best voice. I remember, I was looking for a new band to like and I saw a song by Apocalyptica called I Don't Care. I thought the singer was really good. And then I realised it was Adam Gontier. Amazing singer. Fantastic

That is true. But that dude got balls of steel. Remember: Three Days Grace asked him to help them out for this tour. And he won't stay afterwards. He already said that he would not leave My Darkest Days. And now he has to deal with Fanboys and girls in ragemode.
He's amazing on his own.
They havn't even started touring yet, he hasn't left in the middle of touring. It was just under 2 months before they were to start. It sucks for the fans but I mean you have to do what you need to do for yourself and move forward. If he wasn't happy, all the best to him on his new journey!

I freaking love this album. I wanted to buy tickets to the 3DG concert in February, then I heard that Adam left and I said forget it. 3DG will never be the same, and nobody can replace Adam.
Really sad Adam has left the band .. I've been listening to them for 4 years now - since I was 10 .. They changed me , my life. Adam's voice and TDG's songs were like an escape for me... He's amazing and I hope he continues to create music because he fucking rocks at it. Three Days Grace will never be the same without him ♥
I like Matt, I liked My Darkest Days way before Adam left TDG, but I believe Three Days Grace will never be the same, and yet, I will never stop listening to Adam's music. :-)
i think for my opinion that adam gontier still rocks on his solo songs and on three days grace too. because i think that everybody has their own different voices and it sounds perfectly good on his solo songs. for everybody saying it sucks, well let me tell you something, "opinions are like assholes, everybody has one to tell about it" and some of those ain't true and right so yeah give up on hating on adam people.
This isn't released yet like I said it's bunch of covers and solo songs what we made through his carrier in TDG. Official release is planned in late 2013 by Adam.
