It was a great pleasure to share this special occasion with Tom. Him and I go back many years . The greatest thing about owning an old car is sharing it with others. Darrell Biddlestone.
that paint color does look alit better than what I see it's close 2 candy 🍬 apple red 😊😊 it looks good the way it is although it still would look better w heavy metal flakes in the paint IVE seen other cars they look good that way 😊😊 OMG 12 9 2O23
What a great video! The car is awesome... It's his car and if HE wants it red, it should be red! Tom is delightful. Two years older than my dad (RIP) and doing great. AND a very talented carver. As I have written to you before, I drive a T as Greenfield Village. I had a passenger a month ago... when I told her and her friend that they were riding in a 1923 car, she said, "well it has me beat by a year". She was 99 and looked about 82, sharp as a tack, got in and out of the car with no help, and walked away without so much as a cane. I told her I wanted to see her next year and the ride is on me. I sure hope she comes back!!!
I talked with a T driver for the village. He said they stopped giving rides during OCF. I think they you still offer it. As the public can feel a part of the show.
Correct... there are so many cars on site, and each class likes to parade past the judging stand. So the Ts and drivers get the weekend off for safety. We do run the T rides on father's day weekend when we have "Motor Muster" ... late 30s thru mid 70s vintage cars. That is chaotic enough! @@KlepsGarage
"Fine Corinthian Leather" and Model-T, kinda 'doesn't mix'! However, please remember to pick Tom's brain about growing up during the Great Depression, and "everything WWII related". To make Tom blush, ask him about "Hotel Street" ;-) this video is precious!

Thx Darrell.
Ol' Tom looks like he stopped aging when he hit 80. Happy birthday young man.

Unfortunately, no... I did not make it to the show Saturday or Sunday. Hope you are there in '24... I hope to be there.@@KlepsGarage

That was a really good story you may have found a new channel very entertaining and worth listening too.
Thank you just wanted to showcase Tom. He has an amazing life story. I only touched the tip of it.

I’ll try to find a Facebook link. Somebody interviewed Tom. A few years ago. I’ll put the link in the description
After watching a second time with Lynn I think Tom might like a ride in a $15 29 model A
Yes I have a 29 A roadster. Good idea Mr obvious. 😂😂
