Lovely segment. Though this might be streaming on Netflix at the moment, it's far from "a Netflix film" (which typically implies a low budget movie made by Netflix to exclusively run on the streamer in the name of providing more content). The Ballad of Buster Scruggs was a major studio motion picture in 2018 that got nominated for three Oscars, including best screenplay.

You are correct it is distributed by Netflix, and not a Netflix film. I think it won the Golden Osella Award for Best Screenplay when it premiered at Venice International Film Festival. My bad. All I know is it is an amazing work of art if you ask me. They really got the mining part right, and it shows! ❤️
