Seven words of love 4 - Abandonment

Phelim starts his talk with quoting Jesus when He was on the cross : 'My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?' This was written in Psalm 22. He then refers to the other prophetic statements that are in this psalm. Phelim moves on to other things that have been written referring to the time that Jesus was on the cross. The Pharisees rejected what God was doing at that time and Phelim gives the challenge to us that it is possible for us to reject what God wants to do because it may be too 'messy' or controversial, or doesn't fit into our expectation of what He will do.
