Just as a tip: Get yourself a certified FFP2/FFP3 mask (best from '3M', they are the most dense - no ad), which also protects yourself from COVID if it fits properly (no air flows past the side/top), because they filter the inhaled air and therefore also provide self-protection.
Normal masks "only" protect the people in the environment and not yourself. 😕

Not sure if that woman really understands what data harvesting is..."if you want to use a service you have to give your personal details but I'm guarded..."does she realise they are able to follow and ascertain every single interaction she does online and probably can access even private conversations,buying habits,photos etc and a whole profile of exactly what her voting and consumer habits are lightly to be.When and where she travels,what food she eats...

You have a vault. It's the best vault mankind ever built, and you need it to keep your most treasured heirlooms inside. One day, a figurehead comes along, a person of power and influence, someone who can really make things change. That person orders you to put a backdoor with a key only they can open, into your vault so they can check there's no bad things inside.
One day you find your vault vandalized and looted, because the figurehead was careless with the key, or simply because the mechanism is just plain shit, and anyone with enough knowledge can open that backdoor.
Any person advocating against privacy in a world of technology, where information leaked from one source can lead one to lose their entire life, is on the same plane of intelligence with the figureheads who ordered the Salem witch trials based on what "some voice" or the stupid peasants that started hunting down inventors during the industrial revolution, because they invented steam engines and caused their jobs to vane.
In other words, you exist based on rumor and conjecture, you do not understand technology and you're nothing more than a pest on society. Find another job.

You're clueless. A backdoor is a door for anyone to exploit. You people with this dumb concept of morality, have no clue how technology works. Privacy is paramount and a given right of any human. It's at the very core of "innocent until proven guilty". You'd think the many mass email leaks, data leaks, credit card/bank information leaks would give a person a clue... but then again, technology is as alien to you lot now as it was to field workers hunting down inventors during the technology revolution. Breaking steam engines, burning their houses. You're also the kind of people who burnt women because a figure head told you they're witches (Aka Salem witch trials). SMH.
This is how I used to think before I experienced covert domestic abuse. In a way - I’m happy they are “catching data”. As a victim, I almost rely on it for proof. However, knowing also the statistics and prejudice in the criminal/law system I have little belief that even with all the data they have access to, that they will bring truth to justice.
